Desirable Nails

The attitude I got from the male nail artist was insane. He started off super nice. I asked for a full acrylic set french on my toes with the base as pink. When he was close to being done, he kept telling me how “shitty” (yes, his words) it looks and how I should have stuck to a clear base. He had major sass and bad attitude the entire time. A lady then joined in and they seemed to be having an arguement. They both then started to attack me interrogating me about what I asked for and how much money it would be…I had no issue with what the total was and I made that clear to them in the beginning. The male worker then stormed off and the lady took over. Anyhow long story short, horrible experience. My pedicure looks less than average and it was expensive (they also said they wanted to charge me more for a simple French set. I paid $70). I had also asked for 2 clear top coats and he initially agreed to it then said you’re fine with 1 then left. Horrible service horrible attitude horrible skill

I don’t get pedicures often but I thought it would be nice to treat myself and my mom. My experience wasn’t great. The guy who gave me a pedicure didn’t say hi, made no eye contact even, and was pretty rough when pushing the cuticles back. While clipping the cuticles, my big toe started bleeding. It was actually kind of painful. I will not go back here.

I’ve been going to Desirable Nails for a few months now. They were my first choice when I decided to have acrylic nails. Even if I have to take an hour and half journey once a month one way to get to Cranbrook, it’s worth it. The technicians are quick but efficient, I’ve always loved my nails, they’re very clean and hygienic and super reasonably priced!

Sadly I have to report that this nail salon has truly gone downhill, their cleaning practices are slipping and their tools are dirty. My mother contracted a bad nail fungus after her visit there. This was birthday present as she never treats herself, it turned out to be a nightmare. I hope they become stricter in their sanitation.

I always have the best care and experience in this salon. I am very rough on my hands, but these gel nails always remain solid. The pedicures are relaxing and my feet feel wonderful afterwards. Desirable Nail staff feel like family as I have been with them for 12 years!

I have been going here for years but sadly won’t be back. The fellow poked me and got a bad staph infection and absessed toe. Proper sanitation of tools is greatly needed.

Very friendly and good at what they do. I would give a better rating but I do sometimes get attitude when I ask about certain polishes or artwork

Mr. Lee is the best one !!! You should ask for him! His job is clean and Is the best one !!!I love my nails, I will come back soon!
