It took chubbs almost a full week to just come out and look at our issue. That’s 5 days of incessant alarms 24/7, day and night. Chubbs leaves the office early or doesn’t answer the phone, you are constantly redirected to their after hours line that charges $1500 to just send a service technician out. To boot, our system is not regularly serviced — almost 3 years since the last inspection.

I worked for Chubb in the late 80s and the company was number 1 in Canada for service and customer support. In the 90s they got rid of all the monitoring stations and left only Mississauga to monitor Canada. They were bought out by other companies over the years who use Chubb as a cash grab.The company followed by cutting down employees and getting new people who were not as qualified. As a result this company who had a great British history now is nothing but another company owned and controlled by others outside Canada. I would recommend looking to other companies, maybe even one who has great experience in telephone lines. They are now the best and well trained in the for security and fire.They are still a Canadian company that will take good care of other Canadians.

Horrible customer service, took over a month to reach anyone to service a faulty sensor, then took another month for a tech to come fix the sensor and was charged $200. Alarm was disconnected as we switched alarm company due to the lack of service. System was disconnected for over 2 weeks and the company never noticed the disconnect. Cancelled our contract. Requested a final bill end of June. Finally got a statement mid October. End of October got a letter stating they were taking it to collections... Not even 2 weeks after they sent out the final statement. This company is awful. Please look elsewhere for your home security.

Do not return calls, can’t stop the alarm monitoring from phoning. The office give a quote then do not honour the quote given and try and slip a new higher number past you.

I’ve dealing with this company since 2017, I just argued and hung up with one of their Monitering call station employees about the system number on a building I’ve been going to for 5 weeks in a row now. He insisted the “fire system number” was for the elevators. Which there are none in this warehouse then he proceeded to give me attitude when I told him it was for the fire system. Just absolutely useless how are you still in business?

I wish I could give zero stars. If you are any size of organization NEVER, under any circumstances turn to Chubb. I know they have a lock on the market, but do whatever you can to avoid them. I have spoken to several different departments. They can't solve billing issues. They can't give me any support on account, hardware or software issues. It took months for anyone to even locate my contract in one instance when I had questions about my term. Wait times are often hours by phone. I have been passed around to all of their different branches (City, Provincial, National, etc.) in my attempts to accomplish basic changes, upgrades, payments or fixes. My local rep. couldn't help me or find answers from corporate. I've had service come out months late to resolve urgent issues. They had to come back two additional times (over the course of the year) to solve a simple issue that the first two techs couldn't figure out. I was still billed for every visit. I didn't pay. They sent me to collections. I would have worked to resolve the issue, but there is literally no one to talk to. Every person I have spoken to (probably 5 or 6 different customer service people, either by phone or e-mail) have no answers, and defer me to other departments, who also have no answers. I've been promised follow ups, return calls or e-mails multiple times, and never once received them. The company has an outright disdain for their customers. They know you have few options and could care less if you try to leave them. It is just a numbers game for them - lose a few of you, but invest nothing in giving you a functioning service.Honestly, if it wasn't for their monopolistic position in this industry, there is no possible way this company would be in business. I repeat, NEVER deal with Chubb if you can avoid it. Pay three times as much if need be and find someone local (who, by the way, will likely use Chubb in the background... but do what you can to avoid using Chubb, or any Chubb software/hardware directly). Horrible. Over 2 weeks for them to call back to have their system updated in a building i leased which had their system previously installed. Would not provide a written quote. Techs came and updated the system, ledt an auto alarm setting on which went off every 20minutes after they left until another tech showed up. The list goes on and on

We. Have had terrible service from Chubb . We leave messages that aren't answered and our system has been broken for a few months . DO NOT USE CHUBB.
