They have helped twice. The staff at the shelter know the babies very well and are only interested in matching the right baby to the right home. Love this shelter and wouldn't go anywhere else. They truly care. Both of these babies came from D'Arcy Arc.

We were blessed to adopt our new family member Malibu from D'arcys. The facilities are clean and provide the animals with room to exercise and play.Staff is wonderful and knowledgeable. Encouraged us to take our time and come for a few visits before making a decision. They follow up with us regularly on Malibu. We are very pleased with our experience and encourage anyone looking for a furry family member to check out D'arcys.

I rescued two of my girls from here and they service was fantastic both at the main site and Annie’s attic. I appreciate the level of support you get, with some good and supplies and toys to make transition as smooth as possible, really a while service feel

I found a stray cat today. The cat appeared young and malnourished. Admittedly, I don't know much about cats. so I wasn't exactly sure on the age. I called the shelter and told them I found the animal and that I didn't know what to do with it. They said they were full but asked about the cat's age I indicated I thought it was a few months old but I wasn't entirely sure. They told me they would make room. I brought the cat down in my dog carriers that I happend to have in the truck. Once there the gentleman working behind the counter said that's no kitten, you told me it was a Kitten. He then said that it was an adult cat and that he had enough adults already. I filled out some paperwork and we'll doing so he seemed to insinuate that I was lying about finding the cat and that I was surrendering my pet. This is not the case. I would have happily adopted the cat but I have a dog that Is not cat friendly. I donated a $100 to the shelter to help toward the animal but I left with a very sour taste in my mouth as I felt they really didn't want to help and felt like they were insinuating that I was lying. You shouldn't feel like s*** for doing the right thing especially after donating a $100. I do appreciate that they took it in the end and I hope the poor thing finds a good home.

One of the best rescues to deal with in the city. When we first Petyr I REALLY wasn't sure it was going to work out. In the center he was high strung, wild, and antsy, but they encouraged us to take him for a sleepover, and I'm forever grateful! He settled into a home environment immediately, and became way more calm and attentive. I think the opportunity to see your future pet in this light is so important, and four years later I'm so glad they had this option!

My cat adoption could not possibly have gone better. Lucky for me I met all the requirements and Ozzy Pawsbourne has a new home. The 2 ladies I dealt with on 2 separate days were way beyond helpful and took great time to show me around and they were able to, from memory, give me the background of most of the cats up front. I am pleased beyond measure.Do an animal a solid and go visit D'Arcy.Went back for a second cat. A kitten. I was looking in the kitten room and then they showed me Betty. They explained that Betty had a few issues with balance, teeth and coordination. I took her on because I felt I had to. Now renamed, Pepper is the sweetest thing in the universe. She is watched over by her big brother Jet.Pepper watch out for the Count!

Please go get your rescue pet from here. The doctors/ staff are amazing! My husband found our girl when she was 6 weeks old freezing and she had to get her leg removed and half an ear. When she survived we adopted her when she survived. Our older cat accepted her right away.

My story goes back to 2003. I was really impressed with their setup for cats. Beat all the other places in Wpg. I went for a kitten but said hi to a beautiful 2 yr old orange tabby. The cat sold herself and after an hour of humming harring I took her home. She is now 21 and coming to her end. Love her so much. Thank you for the great set up you had, and the patience with me while deciding.

Got our baby from this lovely place back in May 19, 2022 ❤️ All of the staffs were very kind, accommodating and patient to me and my bf when we brought woodruff (now cloud ❤️) home. The adoption process was relatively easy and smooth! No complaints at all! They let you know everything that is to know and gives you free stuff when you adopt~ highly recommended considering this wonderful shelter when looking to adopt your furbaby!
