Great staff and service but awfully hours, closing at 5 weekdays and at 12 on Saturday is not convenient

RONA won't sell treated lumber unless you have an account with them or are a contractor. I was wondering why Bytown lumber in Rockland was so busy lately.

Always received great service over the years!!

I am new to the area and have gone to this Rona a couple of times. I sense the staff are a little edgy. I showed up to buy some lumber today (I was polite and happy) was told that I had to wait (No problem). After I paid, I wished them a nice day and received no reply back and got the sense that I was bothering them. The staff in the yard are more customer service oriented.

Sadly they offer a service to provide us with a post office and the hours don’t even allow us to get our mail.

Nice people to deal with!! I have been dealing with them for years and keep going back for the service. Recomend going there before any other Rona in the city( still run the old fashion way real wood yard)

Absolutely wonderful store! Family operated by the same owners of the Rona in Rockland. Great service, great prices! The employees will make sure you're 100% satisfied.

Was at your location yesterday in Rockland, I did notice 5 or 6 staff members at time I was in store, 12 minutes later, had a conversation with another customer, we both agreed no staff offered to help, customer left, I bought 3 ceilling covers, and returned them today as all where to small, I tried to return them yesterday but store was closed at 6.25pm, your Staff vs Customers " need improvement"

I have been to the Rona Hammond location a few times for building materials as I am renovating parts of my home and every time, I have to return into the store because either the order desk did not include the specific materials I requested and/or the yard guys can't find the materials and/or have no idea where the materials are... poorly organized place. You would think with all the people working in the place, you could be in and out quickly.for example: was there today (June 22,2022) for 7 bags of insulation which should have taken 15-20 minutes to purchase and pick-up, but I was there over an hour, because I had to return inside twice, once because the order desk inputted the improper specific material and second because when I went to pick up specific insulation, the materials were soaking wet....had to go back for a refund....and that after driving around the yard because the yard staff don't know where the materials are...Will be going elsewhere in the future.

Well layed out yard. Service is pleasant and responsive.
