About two months ago I noticed that I was wearing down sole of my dress shoes very quickly at the toes. On one shoe, I had already worn the leather down into the welt. I decided to install metal toe taps on the dress shoes to slow down the wear at the toes.I called several shoe repair shops in Montreal to see if they could install toe taps on my shoes. For some reason no one wanted to do it. I came across Carinthia’s website, I called them and they said they could do it (they’re the only shop that said they could install them for me). FYI these things are hard to come by in Canada and I had to order them from Germany.I brought the shoes in, they had to rebuild some of the leather on the shoe where I’d worn into the welt. They did a great job. The pricing is excellent, they charged me less than what they originally quoted me. They were very friendly and I’m very impressed with the work. If you’re looking to have some work done on a pair of shoes you care about, I highly recommend you visit this shop!

Fantastic job and excellent service. They repaired my old Redwings, which are now resoled and looking better than when I bought them 15 years ago. Audrey also miraculously brought back to life my old Brady fly fishing bag. The work wasn’t cheap but both jobs were high quality, exceeded my expectations and were well worth the investment, adding years of life to two of my favourite old articles.

Excellent and friendly service. Amazing job on both pairs of boots I brought in. The heels were lowered on my Dr. Martens which I could not wear before because of foot pain. Now I can wear them for the first time. The bottoms of my HH Corcoran boots were completely redone after after a previous place had done a terrible job. The pictures speak for themselves. I was first recommended Corinthia a couple of years ago, as I wanted to reduce the height of some of my high heels.We did one pair which I had bought in Rome almost 34 years ago(no they were not stiletto ) just to see ...Amazing it worked and I promptly did 3 other shoes.Then I was totally taken aback,I went with a pair of my husbands shoes wheelchair bound and every time he stood up his foot would slip forward.They had his shoes ready within 2 days(bear in mind the turnaround time is usually 2-3weeks.That was above and beyond. This kind of attention to detail is rare in our day and age. Thanks so very much.

I dropped off my designer bag to be cleaned. Keep in mind it’s not more than 2 years old and wasn’t very dirty. I was looking for a polish renewal and freshen the black leather.After waiting 3 weeks I go pick up my bag for it to look the EXACT same. It looks like I could’ve done this myself. They told me they applied a color tinted cream but literally looks the exact same colorI’m so upset having to pay for such a horrible service. Next time just going to do this myselfNever coming back here again. Such scammers
