Got the Angry Birds dish - Cornish Hen and 1 small bone of Quail. Delicious but a tiny portion, a little dry and overpriced. I'd go again but ordering Anything else. Great atmosphere.

The food here was phenomenal!We were told that during March, they had a special menu featuring Greek food. From that, we had the spanikopta to start. Mousakka as the entrée. Dessert was a custard torte with apricot.The other entrée was the curry dish, and that was also delicious. Medium was a good amount of spice. Love the red hot peppers chopped up top, then if it's too spicy, you don't have to eat them.It was fine dining quality without the fine dining cost. Lots of care goes into each dish. There was so much flavour and thr all went so well together.The place is a red house" and quite tiny.It's loud when all the tables are full. When you enter

Service was good, fast and thorough. food was underwhelming, had the brunch special with prosciutto and poached eggs. Some roasted cherry tomatoes and TONS of potatoes.. interesting pairing but tasted average, plating was thoughtful for sure, I guess I expected more substance, especially with the price.

Had an excellent dinner here last night. Got a reservation a few days before for Friday at 6pm as we had family visiting in town. They have two hour time slots which worked well for us, and service is as extremely timely to ensure this did not feel rushed. Our server Siobhan was exceptional, very friendly and prompt service.We had two bottles of wine, appetizers including calamari, polenta, and Caesar salad. My main was the chefs curry which was pork belly - absolutely amazing. Everyone loved their mains, refined and flavourful dishes with good size portions, Most of the table ordered deserts which were all beautifully presented and exactly right amount/portions. They also made an espresso martini for us at special request which was excellent!Atmosphere is cozy, clean, and calm. Seems like a well oiled machine how all the servers move around, welcome people, clear tables etc.We’ve been here before for brunch a few years ago which was also exceptional! Can’t believe we haven’t been here for dinner sooner. Highly recommend, truly a hidden gem in KW. Enjoy!!

A delightful experience. The cocktails and wine were excellent, and a delicious offering of weekend specials were available. The celery and blue cheese soup was to die for, a combination I never would have imagined, with a nutty parsley topping. I never knew celery could be so delicious. I followed this up with the curry bowl which was exceptional, I will likely struggle to order anything else off the menu in future as a result of it being so incredible, I’ll want it every time I go :). The service, food and overall ambiance was top notch. Highly recommend

Always a great experience here. Menu refreshes, friendly service, lovely atmosphere. Key highlights that stand out in KW: properly ventilated, so you don’t leave smelling like the kitchen, + good light and sound levels. Parking in the area is a hassle (for some reason RH doesn’t have use of the always-empty parking lot beside it), so give yourself time to find a spot if you drive.

This place is one of my favorite restaurants because of the food, their platings, and the calm atmosphere. I think this is the best place in Waterloo.

High standard service compared to other restaurants in town, all the staff was really nice! Please make a reservation if you’re planning to eat inside (the patio had some available seats)I had the beef cheeks as an starter and it was amazing! Highly recommend it! As a main, I had the Lamb spaghetti which is well served and good.

Very pleasant experience at the Red House. Reservation important as dinner service can be quite busy. Greeted immediately by friendly staff and seated, followed by prompt recieving still water and menus. Appetizers came quickly and hot. Sausagi Ragout Calamari was fantastic, bruschetta was also fantastic. Wife had the chicken prosciutto rigatoni which was extremely flavourful! I had the esperesso and juniper marinated Venison Striploin, rare, with red wine jus, roasted potatoes, asparagus and mushrooms, absolutely divine! Not much gamey taste at all. Would highly recommend. Upper class restaurant and pricing but very much worth it. Also, important note, we did not drink, but very large wine selection and sommelier on site. Menu includes suggested wine pairings for most if not all entrees.

Came here for lunch with my coworkers and we sat outside on the cute patio. The food here is always good and I was reminded again why I like Red House. I ordered strawberry and goat cheese bruschetta and the chef's bowl with Salmon. Flavours were out of this world.
