Mill Woods Recreation Centre
Place is clean. Locker rooms always clean. Never had problems with the water. Waves are fun and perfect for older kids and adults. Sauna and hot tub are small but never had to wait long. Kiddie pool.Diving board.1 big slide. The life guards are very attentive and quick to pick out smaller kids without an adult before going into the water.i feel safe here with my family . Thank you staff

Bring my son swimming here! We love it! It is an older rec center but very well maintained. Staff are always so helpful and respectful. They always try their best to accommodate the needs of clients to their best ability. Love that I get to watch learn how to swim in the same place I learnt!

Unlike small town arenas, the MW ice rinks have a sound system that is of poor quality inadequate for a large space. The City forget that music accompanying hockey etc is so important as an entertainment pkg. Currently, the sound system is on the fritz in both rinks. Great ice but poor sound system-not fun when you can barely hear the music.

Overall, not a bad facility. It’s kind of bare-bones, but it works. Most people stick to cardio here, which leaves a plethora of free weights ready to reap. However, it is somewhat limited with the diversity equipment it provides.

facilities are great but front desk was quite a problem. Older woman that works there was very rude when I was trying to talk with her. She didn’t even try to understand my problems but straight up said no. She did not refer me to better help nor did she try to help in what else I could do. Felt very bad for her coworkers.

The gym is great but the aquatic center is the draw. It has a wave pool, a better than average waterslide, a dive tank, hot tub, and sauna, so it's an affordable waterpark option. Zero depth entry means that this isn't the best option for lane swimming.

The wave pool is fun, but definitely needs an upgrade. I hadnt been here in 15 years and everything looks the same as it did. Need a bigger hot tub and steam room for the amount of people that go here. Ive learned not to visit on weekends as its bombarded with screaming kids in the locker rooms and pool.

Gym is big with lots of equiptment, and I appreciate the waves in the wave pool actually being strong and fun to splash around in, compared to other pools in Edmonton. Unfortunately, the public swim schedule is pretty restrictive and narrow. Renovations also need to be done on the facility itself, it's getting to be a bit dated.

Millwoods Rec center is doing amazing job with cleaning and keeping patrons safe. The facility is regularly being cleaned and disinfected. The usable areas and pathways are clearly marked. The pool is open and can be accessed by picking up a time slot.
