The ice here is very chunky, it's quite difficult to skate. I watched the zamboni go over the ice, but it didn't seem to do much. There is no beginner's zone, and the ice itself isn't very beginner-friendly due to the roughness.

NTS coed softball has been playing here for 2 years now on Friday nights. Good field, good location.

Went here and was told that if I showed up about half past the hour that I would be able to skate on the hour. waited for 30 min and was told they were at capacity. Some guy who had two spots decided to give me his and they still denied me to and my girlfriend to skate, counted the skaters on the ice there was never any more than 20 and they are max at 25. The kids running it had very little idea how to manage the rink in my opinion.

Perfect ice for shinny when weather cooperates. Stuff does a great job of keeping the ice in a top shape.

Lousy ice. Lazy staff. On warmer days (slightly above 0) they don't bother turning the compressors on to cool the ice. They do this so that they can shut the rink down and sit around doing nothing. Also, when leaves fall on the ice the just leave them there. The sun hits the leaves and the ice melts around them causing hazardous skating conditions. This has got to be the worst run rink in all of the GTA.

Great Ice and atmosphere but there's only one 2hr evening a week for adult shinny. It's not enough and it gets over crowded. There are tons of free skates times alloted which is fine except you can free skate many places. This is a hockey rink and not much hockey gets played.
