We stopped in at the one at peggys cove and it was lovely. I bought two pieces. The one i really wanted was at another location in a town we just happen to be going too. The staff called order and the other store held it for me till i got there. Once there we were shown how the pieces were made. So informative and educational. We loved it.

I've been coming here for more than a dozen years to buy souvenirs and gifts, to chat with the folks who work there, and to watch their pewter demonstrations. They're always happy to show you how the items are made and to help you with anything you need! It's a tiny picturesque town well worth a visit - and you'll see their jewelry in all the airports and nicer souvenir shops in the area. It's so special to go to Amos Pewter itself and see where it all comes from!

I don't know anyone who doesn't love Amos Pewter. They are a point of pride in Nova Scotia, in my opinion. I've visited four locations (Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, the Boardwalk in Halifax and the airport) and have had a lovely experience at each one. Staff are friendly and you can tell they love their job. The demonstrations at the Mahone Bay store are very interesting! This is one of my favourite places to take friends and family when they visit. Such unique, excellent quality items that make wonderful gifts and souvenirs. Each year they come out with a new, exciting line! I have stud earrings from 7 lines and love them all. Support local!

Beautiful gift shop. And surprisingly affordable! If you are looking for a pretty, original souvenir or gift for someone, it is a great place to go! The staff is very nice, no pressure and the little tour and explanation they give is very interesting. Our kids loved to watch how they make pewter!

Amos Pewter is great quality for the price, and bonus - you are supporting local artists! It was amazing to get a demonstration from the artisans at the Mahone Bay location and see how they work with the pewter to form each item!

Love this place and their pewter work and designs. We visit Amos in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia annually to purchase the annual Christmas decoration for the family members in Austria, Niagara Falls, Brampton, Florida and Tennessee. Amos also will ship around the world. This year's decoration is the Butterfly.

Amos Pewter has a selection of absolutely beautiful things. The real struggle was limiting my selection. I ended up with just a few ornaments (exercising a little self-control), but I wanted so many more beautiful things. Watching the demonstration of them working with the pewter was really fun, and my sister-in-law got some custom gifts for her nieces that were really special. A really lovely shopping experience in Mahone Bay.

I have shopped at Amos pewter for many many years, and since I only live two hours away many times I have shopped right there in Mahone Bay. However, this year I wasn’t able to do so and I shopped online. I just want to say what an easy experience it was and my multiple ornaments that I ordered arrived at my home within just a few days. A pleasure to work with such a wonderful company with such a beautiful product ...I will continue to order online
