Lyons Park Haven Lake
This campground does not cater in any way to nightly campers. Our site was sandwiched between two season sites and was so small we couldn't even have a fire. We had to clean the garbage off the site to put out our mat. The pool was nice, large and clean.

Nice campsite and public docks had great access to the water. Wayne, who I believe is like the supervisor/grounds keeper there, was a huge help and very nice. Helped us place out trailer and gave our truck a boost when it died. We only stayed for a weekend so we didn't have a huge lot but it was perfect for a camper and a tent, with room for a fire and both vehicles to park. There were four of us on the lot and we had a good bit of room. Most of the seasonal campers were very friendly and said hi or waved any time they walked by. Only had an issue with one older lady who complained about us fairly loudly right next to our lot, but she was the only unpleasant one.The fishing here is good. We found it best out on a boat on the lake, but the dock fishing wasn't terrible. Incredibly clean water, too!

We were given a very nasty site, we walked barefeet in at least 4 inches of water. We booked ahead of time and were given a very nasty lot.. flooded and surrounded by all seasoned. Park wasn't that busy and immediately I asked for a bigger site.. was the smallest site we have ever parked on and then freaking flooded.. Said he couldn't give me a different site and sort of looked afraid..... but then we flooded and were told we could move.. 4 inches of water... husband was barefeet just getting our blanket. Too old and too wet to move that night and too tired and ticked the next day.. we just went home instead since we had to move and home was just 5 minutes away.omg we couldn't even have used the picnic table on a good day... we were very squashed while the permanent next door neighbour had lots and lots of room. Beside our picnic table was the next door's sewage system and I could smell it. $90.00 wasted. Not a good experience at all... no flyers...I guess no club house???I'd never go back

Amazing park right off the 401. Transient campers by appointment only by calling the office. Because of Covid-19 restrictions, non-seasonal member restrictions may be in place.

This is an older seasonal campground which is getting pretty tired and run down. There is a swimming pool with a large shallow end which was put in a couple of years ago and a small lake for swimming & fishing. The owners invested in a new dock recently and there is a picnic table on it so parents can supervise their kids as they swim. The lake is 'au natural', ie: full of plants and has a mucky bottom. Horseshoe pits are near the pool too as well as a small playground with swings. There are social events on weekends like Euchre nights and 50/50 draws but nothing I've seen caters to families or children.Sites are on top of each other and offer zero privacy from neighbours.Buildings are looking run down and the grounds are overwhelmingly under maintained. My suspicion is that the owners are elderly and this campground is, understandably, a lot to maintain.

Beautiful campground that is secluded just minutes from the 401. The lake is beautiful for canoeing or fishing or just swimming.... or jump in the pool. There is a playground for the kids. They also have different events each week. The people who camp here are great attitudes and very friendly.
