Blue Star Restaurant
The food is good and the portions are generous. It's a bit dated, but this restaurant has been a mainstay in Welland for ages. Service is great, the waitress was very friendly.

My first time there, welcomed at the door and showed to a booth. My family and I very satisfied with service and food. Love the menu choices. Just go and relax and let them do the rest. Prices are fair.

Food was great. Took my Mother for her birthday and Father for Father's Day. They both happened to be on the same day this year. After waiting for 35 minutes our food came out, we asked for parmesan cheese and I asked for the cranberry sauce that was supposed to come with my turkey dinner. After waiting for 10 more minutes and my meal almost finished our server finally came back to ask how everything was tasting, clearly forgetting the cheese and cranberry sauce, she noticed my mother's steak was cooked medium and not well like she asked for, so she took it to be replaced, I had to ask again for the cheese and cranberry sauce. I'd like to mention it was not busy at this time. When we she came out with my mother's meal again and the other 4 meals have now been eat, I politely said to her I will not be paying for the steak dinner, she said she would need to confirm with her manager. The meal was taken off the bill, as it should have been without say, in my opinion the whole bill should have been no change. I also would have expected the manager to come to our table to apologize for the mix up, but no she just gave me a dirty look when I only tipped $5, which I regret doing. Good food but very poor service.

The staff was very nice and welcoming and service was timely and the food was good. We enjoyed our first eat in experience and subsequent meals. The desserts are also deeelish!

Finally made it to the Blue Star we have read so much about. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and made some great recommendations. The cabbage rolls were the best I have ever had. We even bought some to take home. The lasagna was delicious! We will be back for sure! Thank you!

The Blue Star Restaurant in Welland is one of the areas most established and longest standing eateries in the area. With so many menu items to choose from and excellent quality food and service received on every visit, we would recommend you stop in and say hello to Johnny!They are best known for amazing breakfasts, cabbage rolls, and pies!

I love this gem it’s been here in welland forever pretty much everything you can get there is Homesdale freshly cooked, cabbage rolls are great and if you ever in the mood for the best wings in the region I personally think, give this one a try!!! Very underrated place

Great food. Pancakes were outstanding...super fluffy. Great portion size. Service was a little slow but otherwise a very positive experience.
