Energy Martial Arts Academy

My son has been attending the Academy for nearly 4 years now and loves it! I love it because I genuinely believe it has helped his ability to focus as well as giving him more self-confidence. The instructors and staff are VERY dedicated, skilled, and friendly. We always feel welcomed when we enter the academy and I know that my kid is learning and growing in a great environment there. I liked it so much for my son, that I joined too!

Two academies within 2 kms of each other.A great place to learn Mixed Martial Arts in a respectful, family oriented environment. Ages ~3 years to infinity.Teaching life skills, such as focus, channeling energy, balance, mind / body states, safety, confidence, specialized techniques from many martial arts disciplines, sparing and, in advanced classes, weapons, including double nunchucks, bokken and bow staff among others.Belt levels: white, yellow, orange, green, blue, red, brown, black, 1st, 2nd, 3rd...Classes: After school program, youth, adult, black belt program, specialty courses and summer camps / birthday parties.

Poor transparency, wouldn't recommend. 2 stars because the kids enjoyed it while it lasted, otherwise it'd be 1

My children have been thriving since starting here in September.The classes have taught them lots of self-discipline, mutual respect and focus. The after school program has been so brilliant that my kids now forbid me to pick them up early! They love the activities, love the staff and love working towards goals now. They understand a great life lesson: you have to work hard to achieve your goals but once you achieve them, the pride and motivation that come with that are priceless!

Each time I attend a class at Energy Martial Arts Academy, I am impressed to find a truly excellent environment to learn martial arts and see the goodness" of people. The quality of the people

Great academy and instructors. Great place for kids and adults to learn great skills.

I had my son's 6th Birthday party at this location and I have to say the staff did an amazing job! I arrived a bit early and the staff came outside to my van to assist me with items for the party. They set everything up for me, from the balloons, banner, backdrop for photos to my pinata and table cloths. The party itself was high energy and full of fun! No one was left out and no one was bored! Even the parents participated which was awesome! They also provided loot bags which is a bonus for any parent. My son and his friends had such a great time, the party was the talk of the morning at school which made him feel extra special. If I had to add a comment for improvement I'd probably have to say it's the cold pizza, which is a very minor fixable issue. Other than that, I would definitely have another party here in the future.
