Positive points: The place is clean; there are a lot of choice of vegetables and fruits especially from tropical countries and island (I came there especially for that and also seafoods); Prices are very good.Negative points: BAD customer service. I remember I was looking for something and I asked a man who was managing the shelves... he was very rude (maybe the barriers of language, but still it doesn't mean you need to be rude). Cashiers should say HI or at least answer when people say HI (it's not personally, I noticed that again last weekend from the client before me, for me, after me). It looks like they are not happy or they just want you to get out of here. I know if they are tired they can't smile...but just receive the client properly. So to put it in a nutshell, very good grocery store but customer service need to be improve and hire some people who can speak English too, we are in Canada ^^

A decent Chinese grocery store that carries a wide variety of Asian and Caribbean food and spices. Reasonable prices but you will have to be careful to check best before dates especially on meats and packaged food. If you can overlook the occassional fish stench and tidiness or that you might sometimes buy expired goods…worth a visit.I especially come here for the two shelves that carry Nepali products not found elsewhere in Toronto, like Taichin, Timur, Gundruk, Sinki and rice, beans and lentils from Jumla. Also Indian snacks are cheaper here compared to Indian grocery stores.

Cheap Chinese market. Most of the items are way cheaper than other Chinese stores. And they also hired Filipino staff which is great because it is near a filipino community.

A large chinese supermarket with fresh produce and neatly maintained. There is good amount of parking space available. The fresh meat and fish section is very good and there is a large selection available. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is spacious and not very crowded.

One of our favorite Asian supermarket... We love to come and shop here. They almost have everything from Asian products to the Caribbean. This is a big place. Vegetables and produce goods are good quality. Seafood i love... Prices are good and reasonable. Lots of parking. Staff are nice. They have hot food too.

Jian Hing Foodmart used to be good with their produce, by listing the vegetables at a discounted price. I don’t expect the Foodmart to offer low prices. However, I expect them to offer reasonable prices. Plus, most of their vegetables are very old and expensive. There are barely any customers now, however they do carry an extreme amount of overseas products. So, keep all of the above in mind!

I would like to update my review because a few days back I saw a product which I was supposed to buy it but fortunately I checked the expiry date and it's expired 2 years back that is 2021. Moreover, I stopped buying meats and fish from this store as they don't have fresh items.Alert: please check the expiry date of everything you purchase from the store.I really like this place. This is the only shop that I have ever seen in canada which carries almost all kinda groceries and snacks of different countries. However, I am not giving 5 stars because I am not that much impressed by customer service. That is terrible!!

PROS:One of the cleaner and organized Asian grocery store you’ll find around. They have a decent selection of produce, meat and fish. Lots of ethnic cooking products and items too. The cashier lanes are always fast and open. They also sell hot meals for to-go. $8.99 for a combo (rice or noodles + choice of 2 entree).CON:I would not buy their cakes or baked goods though, as chances are they’ve been sitting there for too long and already have molds in them even though the sticker says it’s not expired yet. You’re better off buying the cake somewhere else.
