Love these guys. Had a dangerous branch situation after the big Nov 2021 Storm. Don, the President responded right away to my website inquiry. And came over to take care of it at the end of the day. Saved a precious maple tree. Very happy!!

Very responsive with regards to communication on when they’d be able to come. I understand things come up and I’m flexible so just being kept informed was great - date changes didn’t matter to me (a busy crew and emergencies happen). They took down an unhappy hemlock and left the area tidy. I didn’t pay the additional for log removal - but the log rounds were gone in less than 24hrs from the backyard (posted for free on local sites). Don dealt professionally with the district as well after someone (a nosey neighbour) complained. No issues, tree was undersize, but they were able to navigate it swiftly and professionally. Don the owner seemed an honest and knowledgeable guy. Price point was in our range as well. Will be using again when we can afford for the next one. Thanks team.

The crew showed up on time with quality equipment.They were polite and clearly take pride in their work evidenced by the meticulously groomed finish on my super tall hedges they used the bucket truck for.I'm super happy with their work and can confidently recommend them.

Western Tree did a huge job at my property with their bucket truck. The whole crew was good......polite, friendly and professional. They did a great job on enormous hedges and did some tree climbing for branch removal as well. Clean up was very good also. I have hired them before and will do so again.

Don and his team were fantastic. We had two massive trees removed in Feb 2022, one cedar and one fir. The crew was polite, professional, and very careful given the proximity of the trees to the house. The team cleaned up the site afterwards. A pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend.

Used Western Tree for a project requiring trimming of several large Douglas Firs. Don and his team were great! Knowledgeable, efficient, and left the site clean. They clearly know what they are doing and do it very well. Trees were trimmed exactly as he had committed. Tree climbers were careful not to damage any property as they completed the task of removing large overhanging branches and lowering them to the ground.

Very disappointing. I’m renting the place so I had no involvement in the deal but I can still write review about what happened. Healthy cedar tree was cut down in front of my house as an reason that someone want to gain view. Whatever. But why I have to spend 2 days of my life cleaning up logs, backfilling holes in a grass so my kids don’t sprain their ankles and replacing damaged Christmas lights, not speaking of beer cans laying around? I charge $40/hr as a handyman and time with my family is priceless so where can I sent my invoice??

We had a lot of trimming and pruning of large trees done. Western has a bucket truck and also are licensed to trim trees near Hydro wires, so the job went smoothly and safely. We were very happy with the careful, friendly, tidy job and highly recommend them.

This guys saved my cat!After three days of my cat being stuck up on an 85ft tall evergreen tree, this man were the only once who agreed to travel all the way out to Maple Ridge to save my cat.For three days we tried calling any arborists, tree service in our area, fire department, SPCA, special cat rescue service that did not want to travel from Vancuver to Maple Ridge. And absolutely no body agree to come out and help us.But this guys have a big heart and agreed to come all the way to save our cat, and within 20min we had our little girl back in the house warm and safe thanks to them.Western Tree Service are professional and kind!Strongly recommended

Don and his crew of three pros did an incredible job of topping and pruning my massive (40 ft.) cedar hedges. They safely cleared branches from around our power lines and took about 10 feet off the top of the entire hedge, really opening up the natural light in our space.The crew were very professional and also very friendly as they went about their work. From the early morning start through to the clean up we were impressed with their effort and work ethic! The quoted rate for the job was significantly less than some of the other tree service companies we had contacted! The value for the quality of work they provided was exceptional!!I would not hesitate to call Western Tree Services again for future landscaping projects!
