Zahra was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She made both my husband and I feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. In fact she made the entire wedding party and family, feel very comfortable and made the whole day very stress free. Everyone was very impressed.She came and met with us before hand and helped us with ideas and organize our timeline for the day of. She is very experienced in weddings which was very helpful for us, as we were not experienced at all. She made sure we got all the shots we wanted and had great suggestions for other shots we didn't even think of.When I got my teaser photos I was so impressed with how beautiful they all were and couldn't wait to get the rest back. When I did get the rest of the photos (which I think was a very reasonable and timely matter) they did not disappoint. Literally every single one was beautiful.I feel as though she went above and beyond as our photographer, for example, Fathers day was shortly after our wedding, and I was not expecting to have our photos back yet, but had bought a frame to give to my dad as a gift with a picture of us at the wedding, so I messaged and asked if there was any way I could get a picture of my dad and I early, to which she said of course and actually sent me a few to choose from in time for fathers day. I was very happy. She was always quick to get back to you and never kept me waiting for a response.I would say I was a pretty easy going bride (she may tell you otherwise lol), but she was for sure easy going. Very relaxed but also professional and respectful. I would highly recommend Zahra Zaman Photography.

For those that think a photo is a photo, you have not experienced how a well trained eye can draw out real emotion, a specific look and simply have a image explode off your screen or print. Zahra has done all of this and more for me. She starts with talking to you about what exactly you want and creates branding ideas around it. Once Zahra has your vision clear, she goes to work on creating posed and action based photography to bring your brand to life. Zahra is my regular photographer for my Speed Dating events around Halifax. She is so amazing! She takes complete control of the events. My guests loves her and you could tell by the pictures. When starting my own business, one of my first tasks was to get an updated headshot and some personal branding images. Because my business is service base I wasn't sure where to start. Zahra met with me and got to know all the details about who I am, my personality, what I offer, and my process and was able to develop some amazing photographs. Zahra offered tips and was available for any questions that I had, and came to my home office to really get a feel for my work. She made me feel relaxed and confident which clearly comes through in the images, as well as a branding document which she put together. Zahra was an absolute pleasure to work with the whole way through. I asked her to photograph at a Gala event, both the event itself and also a photobooth station.
