Omemee Veterinary Hospital

Great experience bringing in my 12 week old puppy today. Covid restrictions meant we couldn't go into the office, but they kept us updated and were great over the phone. We were let in right at our appointment time and the staff seemed to really care for our little puppy. Overall great service!

The staff here are incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. They helped me diagnose and treat my pup’s Lyme disease. I love that they are a certified fear-free clinic that uses positive reinforcement and cooperative care with their clients.

Profit Before Pets!! Please do not bring your beloved pets to this establishment. I had an 11 year old handsome rottweiler that had a broken nail and infected quick which I brought to this veterinary hospital on April 30th. 2021. They loaded us up with all kinds of medications ($30 dispensing fee per medication) until his surgery on May 18th. and told us that age was not a disease" because we were concerned about the surgery. The night before surgery we were told to give my 130lbs. dog 3 trazodone (Trazadone is a prescription medicine that’s used to treat depression

I have used them for years never left an outstanding bill always paid bill in full!Had an appointment for my dog and they cancelled it because I didn’t pre pay because I had missed two different appointments over 8 months!Care was good but customer service is horrible.If you work out of town and can’t make an appointment don’t use this vet!I will never use there services again,I live in. Peterborough and would take the time and drive all the way out to them.Sad that they run their business this way!!!!!Very unhappy because of this.

My boys Gus and Archie are both big, nervous fellas and now actually like going to the vet! Dr.Norman and all the staff here are Kind, compassionate, patient and professional. They also have in my opinion one of the best board certified surgeons who did 2 TPLO surgeries on Gus, the support we received as well as the results couldn’t have been better, I would recommend Dr.Michael Faessen to anyone who may need to have this done. Oh, and to top it off they bill direct to Trupanion insurance!

Very happy my wife took our 10 akita puppys for there vaccination ! Amazing staff will be returning for future litters

Best vet I've ever dealt with. Considerate, willing to work with you on payments if needed, and definitely puts the animals first. 100% recommend and even more so if you have a nervous or anxious pet as they are amazing.Update: still use omemee vet consistently as my dog has reached his senior years, they are still wonderful and couldn't be happier with his care

While I have no issue with the quality of care of this place, the level of professionalism is bordering on pathetic. Every visit they try to get you to commit to buying teir overpriced foods and suppliments, all of which you can get far cheaper elsewhere.Then I took our new pup in for her shots (paying full price for the appointment) and was told she needed boosets in 2 weeks. When I got the bill for the appointment (where all that happened was the boosters) I founds that I had been charged for another full veterinary appointment, even though she's had her's just 2 weeks earlier. When I complained they refused to do anything about it.They offer large breeds" (which my puppy is) a free nutritional consulation at 6 months

I have been to 3 other vets in the past, and Omemee is by far my favourite. All of the staff is so friendly and sweet, Dr. Laing is really kind, informative, and explains everything in an easy to understand fashion, and Dr. Norman is just simply amazing. She is very thorough, does not rush our appointments, answers every question I have, and she is super compassionate.

The staff are fabulous! Pets are well taken care of. They always get my business. No issues ever.
