We had Derek provide us a quote for some fencing work and were ready to go for the end of May. Unfortunately, due to some last second events out of my control, I had to back out of the project. Throughout the entire process, Derek was incredibly professional. The amount of detail that just went in to the quote, and how Derek took the time to answer each and every single question was remarkable. I wish I could have went through with the project, but I know for sure I'll be hiring out Squirrel construction for future projects.Thanks Derek!

Derek and his team did an amazing job building my deck and fence last year! He was great going over designs and coming up with something that fits our space perfectly. We are very pleased with the fence that Derek and his crew built around our back yard. The men were very friendly, polite , HARD working (even on the very hot days)& professional. We had a problem with the back gate warping and Derek responded promptly to fix the problem. We highly recommend Squirrel Construction to anyone looking for a great fence.

We had our back yard fence and gate replaced last year (2019) and the quality of build was excellent. We shopped around and were impressed with both the price and the service we got from Derek at Squirrel Construction. The fence was in a tricky spot with lots of underground utility lines, existing structures and patio stones to contend with in various places and he managed to do the job without disturbing or damaging anything. I can unreservedly recommend Squirrel for your next fence building project.

I booked Squirrel Construction at the end of last season just to do one side of my back yard. The old one was down and the new one up in 2 days. Good job and looks great. I'm getting Derek to finish the rest of the yard this spring.

Derek was great to work with, and we are very happy with our new fence from last summer. We had a board split a few months after the fence was built and Derek came by within a day to replace the board it for us. Always quick to answer emails and responsive to questions.

Derek provided a fast, accurate quote, including a nice custom sliding gate to meet my requirements. Communication was good both before and during the project. Construction was delayed about a month but that was caused by the terrible wet spring we had last year, not Derek. Saved me about $500 by suggesting I sell my old fence panels rather dispose of them. Very happy with end result.

Derek's work is top notch with careful attention to detail and he’s an excellent communicator. I asked him for a quote after seeing recommendations in my neighborhood Facebook group. His quote was lower than other contractors, and he provided way more very helpful information and guidance around the design and options. The deck (built last year) turned out beautifully and he also re-did the wonky gates in our fence. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience with Squirrel Construction. They built a fence for us in fall 2020. It is absolutely beautiful and we get tons of compliments on it. Their communication around estimates, timelines and expected completion times was the best we have experienced with any contractor (and this was during the challenges of early covid!). The owner Derek helped us out recently with adjusting out gate bottom height after the ground had shifted - fantastic service. We highly recommend their services.
