We just returned from a day tour of the Irish Loop with Steve. It was a wonderful day even with the cool weather and fog. We learned a lot about the history and the people who have lived and live on this beautiful island. Amazing views, a delicious lunch and lots of stories. The booking process was very professional and we would use and recommend your company for future tours.

We took their most popular tour, the twelve day tour. I do not think you can find a better run tour of Newfoundland. All their guides are local and well qualified. You will be especially blessed if you end up with Gord. We started in Corner Brook and ended in St John's and seemed to hit every site in between, including Labrador. I would not hesitate for one moment to recommend this tour.

Had the best time on my day tour the other day with our tour guide, Mike! He was super personable and had such great stories and facts about St John's and showed us some great spots! He really made it feel like we were close friends and family on a visit :) The weather was looking a little dicey but it cleared up for us, proving you really can't predict the weather! Mike had back up plans ready though just in case. Highly recommend this company! It was super easy to book and communication was really easy and appreciated.

We very recently descended upon St.John’s with a tour group from our local travel agency in Ontario.. We were fortunate to be booked on 3 tours by McCarthy’s Party! Every tour guide was amazing! We toured St John’s and Cape Spear, the Kitchen Party and the Irish Loop. Loved every moment!!! Can’t say enough about that company and it’s knowledgeable and fun guides!! Even tho our time in Newfoundland was short and in the St, John’s area…..we felt we had a perfect overview of the place, the people, the scenery and the culture….not to mention the fish we ate!! Thank you McCarthy’s party for making our visit absolutely perfect!!

This trip exceeded my high expectations. The weather was cold, string winds rain and fog but the warmth of the people, the welcome everywhere, the music, the laughter, the creativity and the varied and extensive history made this a wonderful trip. Icebergs, Moose, White Caribou, Puffins and more. The McCarthy staff are superb, caring, efficient and give great value for money. Book a trip, you won’t be sorry.

We just returned from a 12 day tour of Newfoundland Labrador with our guide Peter and driver Ron. This was our first bus tour and the experience was above and beyond our expectations. Peter shared his knowledge and love of the people and land with commentary, stories, videos and laughter. Ron steered us safely through each day with good-natured professionalism. All aspects of the tour were well organized. We would recommend McCarthy’s Party to anyone wanting to visit beautiful Newfoundland Labrador.

Great 12 day tour. Both west and eastern Newfoundland. Trip across to Labrador was an added treat. Snow capped mountains, quiet bays, roaring surf and icebergs, lots of ice. Too many friendly people to count. Weather wasn't always great, but it didn't matter.Our guides Tom and Cathy left nothing to chance and were knowledgeable. Can't enough about Ray our bus driver funny, skillful and even tried to teach us Nefie English, where you at, was all I picked up.No wonder Mccarthy's Party Tours are number one on the Rock.

We ended up booking 3 day trips with McCarthy's on our 10 day trip to St. John's and area. All 3 trips were great! Larry, Dave and Ellis were all skilled drivers, knowledgeable, entertaining and very funny. Can't recommend them enough!
