My husband and I initially contacted Michelle while we were living (and planning our wedding) overseas in Australia. What made Michelle instantly stand apart from other Okanagan wedding planners we had sent inquiries to was her responsiveness and detailed answers to my countless questions - both must-haves when planning a wedding remotely. We hired Michelle for her day-of-coordination service, but she went above and beyond. During the 18 months of wedding planning, she answered every single one of my questions and was an invaluable resource throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Michelle executed my wedding vision to a tee, ensure all the vendors knew what was happening and she helped keep the day on track. All of my guests had an amazing time, there were no lulls in the evening and I had the day I had always dreamed of thanks to my team of vendors and Joie & Luxe events.

Michelle is amazing! She was the only coordinator I talked to that was willing to work within our budget. She was also so genuine and truly wanted to make sure our day was perfect for us. Our officiant was half an hour late and Michelle got us back on schedule. I would highly recommend her for your big day!

Michelle and her hubby Kris did a spectacular job of decorating for my wedding. The tables and venue as well as the ceremony site looked absolutely stunning!! I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking to put on a wedding or a party! Thanks Michelle and Kris!

Michelle was amazing! She took care of all the details leading up to the event, helped coordinate with vendors when there were disagreements, handling any bumps that came up on the day of the wedding, and overall made sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the day! When our timeline at the reception was running late she took care of rearranging everything and did it so well that we didn't even notice that dinner had run over an hour late. I would recommend hiring Michelle 100% to any bride who is considering a day-of coordinator, it was one of the best decisions we made!

Michelle was our month-of coordinator for our wedding in the Osoyoos area. My wife and I had planned the majority of our wedding and hired Joie and Luxe to finalize details and handle day of activities. Michelle and her husband did an excellent job on our wedding day to ensure everything went according to plan. The reasoning for four stars instead of five starts is related to our month-of expectations. Leading up to the date we were hopping for more month-of communication. At times we were left coordinating with vendors on our own to ensure they were kept in the loop for final timelines and contract details as Joie and Luxe prioritized closer weddings.

Michelle allowed us to relax on the day and know everything was taken care of. We used all her suggested vendors who were also amazing at what they did. Michelle was professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. She is nice but willing to make sure everyone sticks to the timeline, she knows how to get the people moving. You are in good hands with her and her team, definitely recommend for your day!

We hired Michelle for our August 2020 wedding in the Okanagan, while we lived in Calgary. We hired instantly after one phone call we knew that she fit so well with us, almost too well!While we had everything picked out and organized prior to working with Michelle, Covid changed our plans and Michelle went above and beyond to help us re-plan our wedding not once but twice and even helped us get a new venue.We always knew we made the best decision by hiring Michelle, she's become a friend we both love, but on the day of our wedding she really blew us (and all our guests) away with her effortless and seamless work. She was presented with a couple of unexpected issues that she dealt with flawlessly on the spot. She made everything that day flow so well that we didn't even notice half of the work she did behind the scenes! Hiring Michelle was the BEST decision we did for our wedding. She is the most amazing person -- compassionate, friendly, and helpful. She was there for us when we were debating canceling our original June 2020 wedding, she provided feedback and alternate solutions, and she even helped us through the hard task of canceling. We decided in June that we wanted to proceed with a small micro wedding in September and Michelle was right there to help us get all the details together. Always there to answer a question and provide a solution. When the event day came, every single guest at our wedding had amazing things to say about her. She decorated the venue perfectly and solved all the problems without needing to loop me in. It was so amazing being confident enough to hand my wedding day over to Michelle, I know I'm a control freak and she was exactly what I needed to take all the stress of my shoulders.
