La petite échelle

Mélanie and her staff are amazing. This daycare was called centre des bécasseaux prior to 2021, and Mélanie was a manager. Our daughter attended this daycare since she was 10 months old until she started school at the age of 4 years old. They are caring, provide great meals, the kids learn everyday, they are very reliable and my daughter loved it the whole time.

Absolutely wonderful. I'm heartbroken that my eldest is starting school and can no longer attend. All the staff there are responsive and care alot about the parents and children.Whenever I've had concerns or questions, they've always promptly answered with full transparency.Melanie the owner/manager is there all day, everyday. For the size, they have low turnover.They also have summer camps. I can send my eldest there during the school break. It'll be a familiar environment with people he knows. No need to do juggle weekly summer camp.There's a daily journal for updates from the staff, a monthly food calendar and monthly activities calendar. Pre-covid, they'd offer outtings (i.e.: museums) and use a yellow school bus as transportation. They were completely optional, and probably best for the older kids (3 or 4 years old).They also have a yellow school bus that picks up and drops off kids from a French public school (I forget the name). Your kids can use La Petite Échelle's before/after care program, rather than the school's program.Suffice to say, this centre is very well run with a variety of programs. They are kind hearted and professional; the kind of people you want to leave your children with.PS. There's one bad review. From what I can deduce, a parent paid the non refundable deposit but chose to change daycare or keep their child home. A non refundable deposit is...non refundable. Someone's just upset they didn't read the fine print and didn't get a non refundable refund.

My daughter has been at this Daycare for almost two years and their care has been impeccable. All my three children have attended this daycare and they all had the same teachers meaning the turnover rate is low and it is very familial. My daughter always looks forward to going there every morning. I would highly recommend this daycare as I have recommended it to my friends and they are all pleased as well.

Mélanie and her staff are wonderful. Very professional and courteous, easy to talk to about any concerns, and they care about the kids so much! My daughter has been there for almost 2 years and loves it. She learns a lot, enjoys the activities, crafts, toys and meals, and is thoroughly exhausted by the end of her week from having so much fun. The educators are true gems and my daughter loves them as much as they care for her. You can really see it in the way they interact. With school in September, we will be transitioning to after-care. So nice to have the flexibility of a centre nearby that has made her ready for school. She even got potty-trained and learned her French there!

DO NOT ATTEND THIS DAYCARE. TERRIBLE customer service. It is a complete rip off. You would be wasting your money going there. It is uselessly expensive!!!
