From the moment we walked through the door and Erick greeted us and asked how he could help us until the moment Lora completed our sale our visit was simply delightful. This place is everything hides and furs. From raw hides of natural and dyed colors to split cow hide for moccasins, vest, crafts and more. Tooling leather for the do it yourselfers to beautiful rabbit and beaver skins- this place is amazing. Not only did they help us find what we were looking for but they also helped make sure it was packaged well for the long treck home. This store is great.

Excellent selection and great service. Too many hides to list here, the lamb skins I have purchased here are thick and plush, they make great gifts for everyone but especially for old people. The staff is very knowledgeable and can help guide you through any project. They also have an excellent selection of leather care products.

The biggest selection of deerskin, moose hides, rawhides and furs I've ever seen at a leather store. Buckskin also has good pricing and a big clearance section, so I'd recommend this supplier to leatherworkers & hobbyists of all budgets and interests. Their selection of fasteners, thread and finishes is also hard to find elsewhere.

I have been shopping with Buckskin Leather for years now. I absolutely love the selection, and having experiences with the owner Michael as well as both of his daughters Michaela and Nikole, I have never been left wanting for a better experience both in store or over the phone. The other employees employed are always knowledgeable and helpful.Even though I live on the other end of Alberta, when I require delivery, the service has always been blazing fast and the shipping is reasonably priced.They are, and always will be my first choice when it comes to sourcing hides for my projects.

I have been using Buckskin Leather Co. for my moccasins for over 20 years. They provide excellent quality hides at an excellent price. When I order accessories ( i.e. rabbit trim, needles, sinew) their service staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I always get my products in a timely manner, even during the pandemic. I cannot say enough good things about this place and I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

My wife and I have been dealing with Buckskin Leather for many, many years and have yet to have a negative experience. In fact, we have been treated so well by the woman in question who works there, that she has even called us at home to let us know when there are products that we may be interested in. Buckskin is the number one leather distributor in Alberta, and their staff are amazing. The service that we have experienced is above and beyond, to the point that even if they are closing up, nobody is ever rushed out the door. They patiently wait until you are finished and treat you the same as if they had just opened.
