Great place to board during the daytime. Friendly staff and my dog is getting comfortable slowly. Good experience for him.

My boys love coming to Dogtopia for daycare. I love all the photo shots they do and special activity days. The staff are all so friendly and they always let us know what the boys were up to when we pick them up. Its also great that daycare is indoors, so the extreme heat in the summer or extreme cold in the winter doesn't interfere with their play.

My recent experience with Dogtopia specifically my conversation with the manager Victoria and puppy grooming experience has led me to write this review. However I will start with the positiveFirst and foremost, I would like to say Dogtopia is an excellent way to have your pet engaged in a friendly, safe and social environment.I can confidently say that Saje has such a great personality because we exposed her to dogtopia at such a young age (12 weeks)The toy room is fantastic and the coaches in the room really care and engage with the puppies.I have been taking Saje on and off since October of 2020. She loves it, I love how they have different events which saje can enjoy, get exposed to different things and most of all be social with other puppies in a safe space.I've heard a lot of horror stories at dog parks and I tend to avoid them. The staff gave me great feedback on how Saje was doing with the other puppies and new friends she had made.Initially my concern was that she would pee in the house since they do their business in the room but this is NOT the case. Saje is fully potty trained and I constantly reinforced that behavior at home even if I had my doubts. They have also accommodated last minute requests for me. For example when Saje was getting spayed they gave me a quick appointment and ensured she was groomed well before her procedure. I appreciated this gesture. The not so good...We've always taken Saje to get groomed at Dogtopia, it's a one stop shop and since we knew the staff including Saje, it was an easy sell. However, my recently experience has lead me not to ever let Saje go back to get groomed. We paid $85 which is average for a groom, previously, she came back fine and we loved the cut this time, it was a whole different story.Saje came back completely scared and not herself, when my husband and I looked closely her fur was uneven, extremely short and had random long strands sticking out.Initially, I wasn't going to complain but what prompted me was the change in behavior she started to demonstrate. she is completely terrified of being in the car, when we worked hard to get her use to it. she trembles, cries and the only thing that changed previous to that was her grooming. When I called them, someone answered she was polite understood my concern and handed me off to a manger, and thats where it went downhill for me.Victoria took over, I have had conversations with her in the past and she constantly cuts me off, doesn't listen to what I have to say and wants me off the phone asap. I attempted to explain that we're not happy with her grooming and she cut me off and said ok can you bring her back" my initial response was no

This location is pretty good, staff is friendly and helpful and my dog Simba is always ready to run in and play with his friends. I like that they vet the dogs thoroughly.I did not give 5 stars for a few reasons, there seems to be a lack of toys, as well as communication issues that arise once in a while (not following my feeding schedule, incidents not told to us, etc.)

We love Dogtopia Pickering! Everyone on staff has been friendly, caring and open since the very first day we brought our puppy in...they were reassuring when I was worried about him at the beginning, always positive, and take the time to listen to us and then explain how and why they do things. We always get a story of how Kash's day was...and he LOVES going! He's learned so much since he started going to daycare, about how to behave with other dogs and other people, and he's made so many friends! I would recommend Dogtopia to anyone who is looking for a fun, friendly, caring place to leave their dog when they are not able to be with them. Kash comes home tired and happy every time he goes!

Hamlet loves coming to Dogtopia! Wonderful and friendly staff that greet you when you come and give you updates about your dogs day when you leave. Easy access to video stream if you miss your pup during workday and adorable events for dogs to do throughout week ie bubbles, watermelon, kong & ball (ball is Hamlet's favorite). They even stay past 7 to accommodate our crazy work schedule. Lastly, the staff adores all types of dogs there including my oddball and weirdest of them all, Hamlet. Thanks.

We love bringing our pup, Coco, to doggy daycare. She always comes home tired and well-behaved. It's great to check in on her throughout the day through the webcam. The canine coaches, especially Josh, do such a great job with her! She loves Josh!

Had my first visit with my puppy there last weekend - it was so nice! Was welcomed with a sign at the door, the handlers were patient, got an amazing tour - when they took my dog to get integrated, my dog was so comfortable I didn't even get a backwards glance! Webcam access calmed my anxieties as I was able to make sure my puppy was safe and having fun and their facility is just top notch.
