Happy with the service from Eco Advantage.

Nice knowledgeable people, but need better organization and communications.My initial consultation with Ed started out great, and I found him to be very knowledgeable on energy conservation measures for my 1950s home. My auditor Josh was also knowledgeable and the process was easy. Unfortunately, I found the follow-up communications poor. Organization of client details and scheduling follow-up appointments to meet deadlines for utility rebate programs was also poor. I had to proactively reach out to book the post retrofit assessment within the utility program timelines, and getting in touch took several tries. Furthermore, I was misinformed that I qualified for the attic insulation rebate when in fact my baseline was too high. This left me out of pocket $500-$650. Finally, I had to reach out multiple times for a final follow-up on my file, and was notified in a response several weeks after I thought my application was filed that they were missing a crucial piece of information. I still haven't received my rebate, but hopefully it comes soon.

Terrible company, 4 months ago folkow up audit was booked and 0 communication. No one returns phone calls. I've tried countless times for the owner or worker to come to finish the energy audit. Never even one call back. Do not use these people ever. They also made a mistake in their first report which could potentially cost me a grant.

Absolutely disgusted with their lack of customer service and communication. I have been strung along for months trying to get a post assessment. I have called numerous times asking for an appointment and have been told someone will call me back. No one ever calls. The last straw for me was finally getting an appointment and then no one showing up and no follow up calls. I will be looking for a different company to finish the assessment.I strongly do not recommend.

Would give zero stars if able to.Lack of customer service have been asking them to provide us with the post retrofit information.Only to be continuously given the run around, our service was completed in August 2021 and we are still waiting for them. we've contacted Sean numerous times asking for the information which he consistently says he has done but is not in the office to upload it unto the Greener Homes site.Also have called the office only to be told they will look into it and promise to call back. I have also left a message with the owner Ed who has also not called back. And of course took our money without hesitation.My suggestion would be not to trust these people to do anything for you.

My parents had 3 units installed over a year ago that provides air in summer and heat in winter (Actual name of units have slipped my mind at the moment). They were promised a rebate of $5 600 going through these people. They have yet to get their rebate and keep getting promises made that never go through. Their latest is it will be a larger rebate through Enbridge, but conveniently on that day last week the persons email had been hacked....how convenient. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone. The work was fine, but that is the only good part of this company

Ed at Eco Advantage Energy Advisors was extreamly informative. His advice was sound and saved me alot of trouble. Helped me determine if I qualify for the rebate. The negative reviews here are not reflective of Ed and his advisors. Any of the delays customers are experiencing are either from Enbridge being backlogged (The company that administers the program and approves the grants) or it is because the customer needs to provide documents (invoices of completed work) to Eco Advantage in a timely manner so that they can submit the completed report to Enbridge but drags their feet. Once they finally give Eco Advantage the documents, it needs to submitted to enbridge and at that point the delay is the cause of Enbridge not Eco Advantage. Call and chat with Ed. He is extreamly nice. Ask questions. Be informed. Know the process so you dont' have unrealisitic expectations.
