They called 5 days late, when the reservation said that I will be called the next day, to tell me that they can't have the truck I reserved and were not able to give anything good as compensation or another truck.

There is a great great gentleman here who definitely loves his job and cares about the customers. His name is John (he has a 9 year old dog). He helped me a lot with my Trailer Ball Mount. If every employee was like him, I would never shop online; rather I would go shopping in person all the time in order to be greeted by such nice people. Thank you John for the great service!

You guys charged me an extra $400 after I already paid for my rental in full. Then refused to refund me the full amount of the extra charge after admitting that it was a mistake! You guys are scammers!

Not just another UHaul, the team cares about the customers and help everywhere they can. Daniel and Steve took good care of me with my trailer and rental unit, even with a password that didn’t work, quickly remedied. I’m a returning customer and will come back!

A little out of the way, but not too bad since it's off the highway. Be prepared for a long wait time, even if you are early. It's also possible even with a reservation that they overbook which wasn't nice to hear and almost happened to us. I would've given less stars but the equipment itself is perfectly fine, dropping it off is fairly straight forward, and the price is *great*. If they hired a couple more people I think the experience here could vastly improve!

I visited this branch in early June and booked a truck to move from Montreal to Toronto. After the initial reservation date and before the pickup date, I checked the reservation schedule by visit or over the phone, and I received their reply that the truck would be confirmed on the pickup date and what I had to do was just wait.However, today when I visited this branch which U-Haul website designated as a pickup location, the day of truck pickup, the manager of this branch replied that there was no truck available. I got a reservation through the branch's staff, and followed the staff's instructions, but in the end I didn't receive the vehicle. I asked the manager what the problem was, but he didn't even explain why.I'm in a situation where I have to reschedule all my moving plans and appointments and look for other available moving company. With great loss in time and money which can never be covered by the $50 which I may receive by claiming U-haul from now on.What really disappointed me was the attitude of the manager. He said he was sorry too, however, we could easily read the irresponsibility and brazenness on his face. Even more frustrating was when we asked him for advice on alternatives. He tells us to claim $50 on u-haul, or there's a truck going to Toronto in Rimouski (which I've heard of for the first time today), about a 6 hour drive east from here, so we can go there and check it out for ourselves if we want to. How could such an answer be a realistic alternative to someone who was not assigned a vehicle on the day of the move? There were several cars waiting at the spot, but he said they were all reserved and he couldn't assign us any cars.I don't enjoy leaving reviews, but I feel the need to share the problem with this branch. When I first encountered the situation, I was angry and even absurd, but now as I write, I have a lot of sympathy for him. I hope he greets customer kindly, handles things clearly, explains exactly what a problem is if a problem arises, and advises on a feasible way to do it and hopes that he finds joy in his work through those things.

Stay away if you think your reservation says it is guaranteed because it is not. Many client's today, including me, after waiting for 30 min in line to hear that my truck was unavailable. Maybe, in the evening. Excuse me? Utterly disrespectful to the consumer. It is a shame.

When returning the truck, the employee was very agressive, he verbally attacked us and was screaming at us because we didn't let him to return the truck for us. He was forcing us to get out of the truck so he takes control over it. We didn't listen to him and returned the truck ourselves. He then came up to us continued screaming I felt threatened and scared and was a very negative experience.My dolly was missing, basically I paid for an equipment that was never given.Avoid this U-Haul at all cost

This place is amazing!! Good nice knowledgeable and outgoing staff.Even gave my young son a freezie when we brought the truck back!! UHaul Montreal West , I will be a client for life!!

Hlo allPlease don’t visit this site . They give insurance with rental truck without asking to us. And insurance cost 20$. Which will cost you more. Don’t trust them. Otherwise you will be also spammed by them.
