Dulux Paints

Well, they usually good, but they tried to match my paint sample but it didn't work. He did say that it would be hard to match. But he was very PLEASANT.

I bought over 26 cans in 2 weeks.Kentville & Kaye st. VERY helpfulBoth places gave me a contractor price.Needed 2 more cans. Unfortunately the last 2 cans in the city. The guys at this location, knew it and charged me an extra $24.00Never shop at this location. SKETCHY

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! The staff were friendly when I was purchasing paint. However I'm not a painter and when I asked for semi-gloss for my bedroom walls they said great and sold me the paint. My painters advised me that this is the wrong paint for a bedroom. When I tried to take the paint back the staff was obstinate, argumentative and out all the blame on me. Took no accountability and would not refund my money.

Staff ( including manager) mock customers! My husband and I have NEVER been treated so rudely in any establishment in our lifetime and we are both seniors. Make sure you witness the lids being hammered on before exiting the store! Ours were not and subsequently when one of the cans was knocked on its side while being loaded in the car; the lid popped open ! I was told that I would have to “buy” solvent to clean my shoes and that I was without any recourse as far as the can of paint was concerned. When my husband returned to the store to talk to the manager about the incident he and his staff were heard laughing at him when he left the premises. Does nobody have any respect and common decency any more? We were only trying to help someone in need of a boost in these stressful times and all we got in return was mockery !

Been buying paint at dulux forever. The paint is great. But the customer service at this location is awful. Avoid it at any cost. I’ve been treated very disrespectfully as a customer and they don’t care much at all.

We chose to go here because we have always liked Dulux paint and the offer a military discount. However, we went to this location to order another bucket of “delicate white” bathroom paint. We had previously purchased another can of “delicate white” paint for the Dartmouth dulux store. When we got home we noticed that the “delicate white” paint we bought from Bayers lake dulux, did not match the “delicate white” we bought at the Dartmouth store. I thought no biggie, I will just go in and exchange it for the right colour. Thinking they are both named “delicate white” and they were the same kind of paint. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!! When I went in to the store they told me that I can not exchange or get a refund on the paint and if I wanted the right colour of “delicate white” paint I would have to buy it. They told me every paint is different even if they are called the same. I said that doesn’t make any sense cause people buy multiple paint cans of the same of paint all the time. They then compared it to if I went to a Ford Dealership and asked for a red mustang. Then went to another Ford dealership and asked for another red mustang. That you wouldn’t expect to get the same exact car from both dealerships. I said yes you would expect them to be the same. Anyway, I still needed a can of the right colour of “Delicate white”paint to finish the bathroom so I had to buy it and didn’t feel like making a big deal out of a 50$ can of paint. But I will no longer be supporting that Dulux store again. So FYI if you buy multiple cans of paint from this location you will not be able to exchange or get your money back if the paints do not match. Which is completely insane to me.
