it was a great experience. at this price they have almost no competition in the city. Having said that, if you want to learn you will need to push yourself because they won't do it for you. There are no strict tests, level assessment is pretty arbitrary at times. When I was there students jumped from one class / level to another quite a lot.

When I was searching the web for a foreign language program which wasn't too expensive, had more that 1 class a week (which is a must for language courses I believe otherwise you are wasting your money & time) & had a convenient location - I've discovered that no other institution could compete with what Hansa had to offer which is all of those 3. Good!To date I've successfully completed 3 levels of Japanese Language course at Hansa and it was nothing but a bliss. I've had a group of like-minded & enthusiastic class mates & they made the whole experience just so much brighter & enjoyable. My sensei (teacher) was Japanese so I knew I was learning from a native language speaker which is definitely an asset. Her methods of teaching were engaging, thoroughly prepared & adaptive to students and their progress speed. I was so impressed with what I have accomplished by the end of those 3 courses. I've realised that not only have I learned Japanese language & culture but also I've made friends and had an amazing time.I'm planning to continue with Japanese at Hansa & maybe show off some of my newly learned expressions in Japan soon ;)

I studied there for 1 month for an advanced English course. The staff are friendly and helpful. The students are also very diverse and friendly! Take advantage of all the social activities they organize for you :)

I studied at hansa in 1996. So, it's been for 25 years. Time really fly fast. Good memories there and miss many of my friends

I really enjoyed my learning experience at Hansa Language center. I made great friends and met people from all over the world during my course. The teachers used a very effective system and I learned easily I really enjoyed the teachers energy and support they provided during my time at Hansa. It is a great school with a nice atmosphere and I would recommend it to anyone trying to learn english.

had a very bad experience with HANSA in regards to requesting a refund.it has been about two months since I've asked for a refund and still no call back or response.I had a trial class which I enjoyed for Spanish. the problem was the distance as I was coming from ajax combine distance with crazy construction the trip was over 1 h 30 minutes.I had advised them I would like a refund right after the class after thinking of pros and cons.now here we are two months later.

This is a very good ESL school . Who take care of the international students in a professional manner, respect and kindness.
