PUT IN THE TIME K9

This was our first dog, and what should have been a joyous experience soon became a tiresome struggle despite his small size. Before Pittk9 Grizz would be extremely anxious and reactive to all dogs and people, resource guard stolen items frequently, and play-bite us nonstop. We could not be happier with the results! We have a much stronger relationship with our dog and now enjoy our daily walks. All our friends and family have noticed the transformation and we still have a few more weeks to go! I’m sure that PITT K9 has many reviews telling you how the training has changed the lives of dogs and owners. It's easy to read this and think “yeah but that can’t be my dog…” I want to tell you it CAN! I thought the same thing at first. I have two bully breeds who were spoiled for years and are both very stubborn. I felt stuck since I had tried to train them myself and with a few other trainers, how was PITT K9 going to be different?First off, Casandra truly cares about your dog (and every dog), it is the true motivating factor behind her work. She wants them to thrive and enjoy all that life has to offer. She is incredibly dedicated and determined to get every dog she works with to reach both their training and life goals.From the first moment we spoke, I knew Casandra would be amazing to work with. She listened to all our concerns and needs for each pup, she talked us through her training process and the options we had. She genuinely wanted to know what our small and large goals were for our dog and where we saw our future with them. We told her that we wanted to be able to take them camping, she smiled and said we would be camping with them this summer! It seemed too good to be true but it really isn’t. We have just completed our 5th private session with Casandra and I truly cannot express the 360 we have done.Second, they have many different training options to fit with your needs, goals and budget. We are doing both private lessons and group classes. Both have been incredible and worth every penny! Our private sessions have allowed us to meet each dog's needs individually and work on their own personal struggles. The group classes have also been so beneficial because we have been able to practice our training around other dogs and people.Third, Casandra is an excellent teacher! She takes her time to explain why we are doing that particular action, she will demonstrate it to you so you can watch to better understand. Casandra is very encouraging which has made me a lot more confident in my abilities as a dog pawrent. Training can be tricky at first when learning new techniques and trying to unlearn others and with Casandra’s encouragement and praise, it becomes a more stress free process.Fourth, we have more freedom because of the training. Cassandra not only has changed the lives of our dogs but ours as well. We now have freedom, whether that be we leave that at home while we both run errands together or we take them with us to family functions. We no longer have to decide which one gets to visit family and the other stays home with the dogs. Our dogs have also gained more freedom because we are no longer stressed about taking them to new environments because of their behaviour.Fifth, the training works fast! Our dogs struggled with separation anxiety, dog reactivity, lack of confidence and being easily overstimulated. Within the first two sessions the reactivity is gone and their confidence is increasing everyday that they are completely fine to be alone or away from us. Both dogs also pulled horribly on a leash, they had no recall and never looked at us. Now, I barely recognise them on walks, they are engaged, walk beautifully on a leash, and come when called. We also worked on boundaries in the house because we used to have no rules in the house, they went and did whatever they wanted. They had taken over the couch and the bed but now they respect the boundaries we have in place. Our house is no longer run by the dogs. And these are not just words you read off a review, this is my reality and I am so excited for our future.If you are looking for a trainer, I CANNOT recommend PITT K9 enough. Cassandra has done an incredible job building a community of encouraging dog loving individuals and we are so grateful to be a part of the PITT K9 pack. We will definitely continue to do group and refresher classes with PITT K9 throughout our dogs lifetime. I never want to stop working with them! Thank you Casandra for everything you have done!

I have a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd named Akela. Before training with Pitt K9, she would run away if she got loose by accident and she would run so far and so fast there was almost no way to catch her. My dog also had no leash manners, she would pull and zig zag all over the road. I had bought some tools already and read books on dog training but still didn’t know where to start. I reached out to Pitt K9 and had a consultation with Cassandra to go over my goals for training and to review which training program would be best suited for my dog and I. From there we met weekly with Cassandra and she taught us on-leash heel, off-leash recall, threshold training (not running out an open door), place command and more using the tools I preferred and focusing on what method of training worked for my dog. I would recommend Pitt K9 to any dog owner for any training needs. Training is 100% worth it for a better quality of life for you and your dog. Thanks to Pitt K9 and Cassandra I know that my dog will recall to me off-leash no matter the distraction.

HIGHLY recommend PITT K9 to anyone struggling to train their dog! I had originally contacted Cassandra in tears because of how unmanagable our pup, Rory had become (jumping up, pulling on and biting at her leash, chewing everything in site, reactivity toward certain people in public, and last straw, becoming aggressive toward guests coming into our home). We met up with Cassandra who was very professional and I could immediately tell she takes pride in what she does. She explained their training method to us and ensured us that by the end, Rory would be where we wanted her to be. She definitely did not disappoint!! In the sessions that we had, our girl has become an entirely different dog and a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders knowing that we can now take her anywhere, or have anyone over without fear or embarassment. PITT K9 is absolutely amazing. We went from having a disobedient dog who chewed on just about anything that he could get to. PITT K9 helped us get our dog to become an amazing pet who listens so well. I recommend them 100%. They have great programs to teach you how to train and have fun with your dog. Extremely knowledgeable and professional.

I’ve had a great experience with PITT K9 training for my dog, Jasper. I’ve had some challenges with Jasper specifically with on-leash walking and the improvements since going to training with PITT K9 are remarkable. Being able to take Jasper on lots of walks and adventures is something that means a lot to me as a dog mom. I’ve been working with Casandra and she is very patient and understanding with both dogs and people, which I really appreciate. Dog training is a process and she really makes sure that all your training needs are met from beginning to end. Overall a really great experience and I will continue to go to PITTK9 for all my dog training needs.
