If you want your dream home then this is the company and team to work with!We wanted to build our own home from scratch and not go with some pre-made house plan like a lot of builders limit you to.Alair allowed us to design the entire layout and make each room truly our own.We had been hesitant to build our own home as we had heard how stressful it could be but Curtis and Sharayah Moffat made everything as easy as possible and guided us along the way. All of the selections and design was done at the beginning of the project and we knew the cost of everything prior to breaking ground. If we made changes they were easily incorporated and costs were always explained and upfront. The transparency and communication every step of the way was fantastic and helped with budgeting.I cannot say enough wonderful things about these two. The care, expertise and attention to detail they provided was exceptional. They took the time to get to know us and really understand what we were wanting for our home.The trade crews they hired to work on our home were also fantastic and you can tell everyone takes pride in their work and are true craftsman.Hiring this team was one of the best decisions we ever made!Thank you Curtis and Sharayah for taking our vision and making it come to life!!

My husband and I met in Winnipeg MB 18 years ago. I am a born and raised Winnipeger. My husband was a Texan in Winnipeg perusing his football career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. After his career ended we moved back to the United States. Fast forward 15 years later with 4 kids and a dream to own a house where I grew up we found a beautiful little quaint lot in the woods of Victoria Beach Manitoba. I found Alair just searching around the web and instantly fell in love with their builds and designs. We brought our vision to the them and instantly hit it off and started brainstorming. They were just as excited as we were to build our beautiful cottage. Curtis and Sharayah are a very talented husband & wife team that won’t miss any details!!! We hit it off day one the first time we met them. It was like we were friends for 10 years. Travis and I reside in the Austin TX area but the long distance didn’t prevent us from having an seamless build. With multiple phone calls, facetime, and daily emails our communication was great. They understood exactly how Travis and I operated. We are beyond thrilled with the outcome of our cottage! It’s a dream come true! Back in 2012, my wife and I hired Collin and Mitch of Alair Homes to build us our custom dream home. Being business owners ourselves, we truly value and appreciate customer service, which at times seems hard to come by. This certainly was not the case with Collin and Mitch who were always professional, approachable and honest. There was never a time in which I felt I was being a bother to them while calling them to discuss our project over the course of the build. Any issues that arose were quickly and efficiently addressed, and they did so in a manner that convinced me that they were treating the build as though they were building their own dream home. Pride in workmanship was evident, and they were mindful that their end product would be a positive reflection of their work. Since the build, Collin has continued to contact us on a regular basis ensuring that we were still happy and wondering if there were any issues or concerns (what other builder does that?). Since our build, I have often recommended Collin and Mitch from Alair homes and encouraged potential customers to see our house as an example of their passion and workmanship.

I had Collin, Mitch and his team do some work on our newer home that was built by another contractor. We had issues that were not being dealt with properly with our original building contractor, so I decided to reach out to Collin to help us out. Collin and Mitch's team stepped up and helped me solve the issues we were having. I am really happy with the work and the service they provided for us. We hired Alair to build a two-story addition onto our 1909 heritage home. The project was complex, requiring a complicated tie in to the existing structure. We are happy to say the end result is a spectacular new space that blends perfectly with the rest of our home inside and out.Mitch made the whole process stress free, communicating with us throughout the planning and construction phases and beyond. The job site was always clean and tidy at the end of every day and they were unwaveringly punctual. Everything we asked for Mitch bent over backwards to deliver. He addressed all our concerns and still checks in on us to make sure that everything is on order.Their dedication to quality and client satisfaction unequivocally set Alair apart from other contractors that we’ve hired. As fun as doing a large renovation through a pandemic and moving back into your parents/ in-law’s house with two kids and a dog could be, this was a blast!Working with Curtis and Sharayah was easy! They were both so open, honest and transparent with the whole process. Communication was important to us and they delivered on keeping us informed through the process and the details along the way. They managed to work within our budget and were open to trying things they’ve never done before (Geothermal). Sharayah and Curtis both have an excellent eye for detail and won’t settle for anything but the best. Everyone that worked for them were top notch.In our renovation, we ripped the roof off our 1930’s bungalow, added a full second story, and completely renovated our main floor. We couldn’t be happier with the result, and that it was completed within 6 months! They were fun to work with, provided quality workmanship, and we are now able to live in our forever home in the neighbourhood we love.Thanks Curtis and Sharayah!

Collin, Mitch and their team helped us with an extensive renovation of a 1960’s home in River Heights. We did everything from windows, doors, modified roof lines, new siding, stone work, interior structural work and finishing’s. Their team are real craftsman with decades of experience. and were careful to pay attention to all the little details in their work which makes all the difference in the finished product. They were always very timely for appointments, cleaned up each day after they were done work, were always very courteous and came in under budget. We went BIG with our renovations and had lots of decisions to make but the biggest decision was finding the right team for the job and we can only give our highest recommendation to Collin and his team from Alair homes!

Very happy with Alair’s work on our redesigned main floor and kitchen. They kept the site clean, met their deadlines, solved issues and we ended up with exactly what was in the design. We got weekly reports so we knew exactly what was being done and they kept us informed on budget. The project manager was quick to answer questions and let us know if there were any decisions we needed to make to keep everything moving. We moved back in on time and the project was completed on budget - all during the pandemic. I would work with Alair again with no hesitation.
