Homebrewers love their homebrew shops. This patient and passionate store owner has a good deal of experience and his shop is the only easily accessible homebrew shop in Montreal (at the time of writing this). They have limited supplies so I suggest you call before.

This is why you DONT shop Amazon! Wonderful local experience for the novice or the experienced. Stephan was personable, knowledgagle, and set me on my way for a good winemaking journey. I'll be back

A very talented owner who helped me with my sparkling wine questions and supplies. Do go in and ask about homebrewing.

Owner is knowledgeable and friendly, has a nice selection of ingredients, and is perfectly bilingual. As a newcomer to MTL, I appreciate more technical consultation in English as I am still not fluent with French.Extra points: He has CO2 tanks for exchange in a variety of sizes.

Stephane(the owner) taught me how to brew. This is a friendly little shop and he's got everything you'd need. Service can be a bit slow at times because he runs the shop alone - and it's worth the wait.

I'm a small time homebrewer. This guy is always helpful and patient. I accidentally did not tell him to put my grains in separate bags, and he crushed all new grains and separated them for no extra charge. It was absolutely my mistake and he was down about 30 pounds of grain, but he didn't lose composure for a second. Good guy, great place

If your looking for a place to buy ingredients for beer brewing this is the place for you! Lovely neighbourhood spot. It’s a one man show but the owner is so helpful and gets you excited about brewing!

I've only bought wine kits here, but they seem to sell everything you need for brewing beer from scratch as well. They owner was very nice, answering any questions and giving advice. You can pay by credit or debit, but I like to pay cash at this kind of place to try to keep their overhead low.

Get ingredients quick and easy, they might not have everything you need, but there's definitely enough to make some beer. They suggest replacements for anything in the recipe and most fundamental equipment is available too. You should definitely think about making some beer, it's fun and easier than you'd expect.
