I think their stylists practice dated trends and i overall do not recommend. Before I give my review, the stylist himself was very kind and tried his best... however, his best efforts did not cut it. I showed my male stylist a picture of what I would be wearing that evening and a picture of the hair I was wanting (a picture of myself with the hairstyle). He did not offer to wash my hair and just used a bunch of dry shampoo - I'm not a stylist so I was on board. I mentioned many times I wanted a high bun that was very simple- with my bangs to frame my face. The bun he created was almost way too dressy and complete opposite of what I asked for. I looked like a wedding bridesmaid and that was not the vibe I was trying to achieve. After letting him know my discontent, he kindly re-shaped the bun.... but now it was a low bun and gave granny vibes. I will admit I am quite particular of what I like... but this is a given to any client that is paying for full service. By the second attempt, I knew the stylist could not achieve my desired look so I paid and left with a smile. Overall, it was a complete waste of $100 +. Again, the stylist was extremely kind and I appreciate his efforts however, I'm not sure how you could mess up a simple high bun....

Elevation hair studio is the most amazing salon, it’s professional, inviting, and just a lovely space to spend an afternoon in whistler! From the moment I walk in, the receptionist smiles and takes my coat, and then my FANTASTIC stylist Natarsha starts to work her magic. I literally drive from Vancouver island, take a ferry, and then drive to whistler just to go to this salon. This past trip, it was just for my hair— you know the salon and stylist is good if you’re willing to do that. This is an honest review, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for my beautiful hair Tarshii!!

Nina is always so amazing, hilarious to chat with, and an absolute perfectionist when it comes to all things hair! Nobody else is allowed to come near me with hair scissors hahaha. 10/10 recommend Nina for any and all of your hair care needs!

I love Elevation! Sandy is my stylist and she is amazing!!! Very knowledgable, kind and speedy with my big crazy hair! I am always leaving very happy with my bright fresh blonde hair. The whole team is very friendly and welcoming! I always look forward to my appointment every few months. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about this place, best hairdressers in town, Sarah is skilled and knowledgeable with my blonde curls and three weeks on I still love this cut. My go to from now on!

Brandi & the team at elevation are incredible at what they do! The only salon in whistler I’ll trust with my hair. All of the artists are amazing but my girl Nina is a curl queen. My natural curls never look so good as they do after seeing Nina for a visit. The team is also very accommodating, I was running late for my appointment & they pushed their schedule back to help me out. I always appreciate what they do for their clients!

Nina is a damn hair rockstar! She gave me the confidence to (finally) chop my hair off, coloured it to absolute perfection, and made my hair dreams that I didn’t know I had come true. 10/10 recommend Nina if you want to wake up loving your hair everyday (and get compliments months after)!
