Progressive Vision Centre

I am wearing glasses for 10 years already. On Sept 2022, I went to Progressive Vision Centre to do an update eye exam and made a pair of glasses here. However, I have a bad headache after wearing the new glasses. I emailed Progressive Vision Centre and went back to reduce my glass prescription (from -2.25 to -2.0). However, my headache still persists and has not improved after the change. I required for eye exam retest but they want to charge me more for the retest. I feel so upset and disappointed about the service here.

I had a great experience here with Dr. Clarke.She was very friendly and very professionnal. She explained everything using the highest technology.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted contacts but am having trouble learning to put them in and take them out. They have been very patient and helpful and also helped me get a pair of glasses to update my prescription until I can get my clumsy hands to work with contacts. Thanks so much to the whole team at progressive!

Went here for my last eye exam, and plan on using them from now on. It was quick, efficient, and just about the most thorough exam I've had in ages. Very nice people, made me feel very comfortable, and answered any questions I had.

From the minute I walked into the office, I was greeted with a smile from a very helpful Receptionist (Karen). Doctor Huston was very professional and took the time to explain things and answered all my questions. I also ordered my glasses through Heather who was great helping me pick out a pair that suited my needs, and they fit great! I would highly recommend going here for your next Optometrist visit, and experiencing how they put your needs first, and where you get that customer service that lacks elsewhere..

Horrible experience at this office. I will mention the receptionists were very welcoming and pleasant - but Dr. Huston's 'bedside service' was awful. At one point she was poking me in the eye and I let her know and her response was 'well, I'm not actually poking it that much. I am very light sensitive and though I know some services require to have light in your eyes to see the back of the eye - when I was having trouble keeping my eyes open she was frustrated. I had let her know I have extreme light sensitivity since my eye surgery and she was not empathetic at all. She ended up tossing her tools away and said 'well I guess we can't do it if you aren't going to sit still' when I had trouble not moving. She kept interrupting me when I would try to speak and did not seem to care about my past eye surgery and the struggles I have had. I was also not made aware that my eyes would be dilated at this appointment so thankfully I didn't live far as I was unable to drive after my appointment and ended up walking home.When I was trying to choose frames

I will never go to this office again nor will I recommend this office to anyone they were highly disrespectful all of them to me especially when they found out that I was on assistance. When they told me I needed proof that I was receiving assistance I was willing to show them my monthly bank statements as I receive it direct deposit however apparently that wasn't good enough. I was told to either pay at front or rebook my appointment when I had documentation proof. What a waste of time and a waste of money. I already have another appointment but for Monday with another eye doctor who is way more professional and was more than willing to help me even though I was on assistance and I didn't need to bring an any proof because they could run it through my health card.

Great doctors and wonderful staff. I know I'm being provided excellent care, and steered in the right direction for eyewear. The staff always explains why they recommend a product or coating or type of glasses.

Dr Clark was very thorough with her examination and provided helpful feedback.Very happy that she’s taken over the practice and my vision needs are going to be looked after. Her staff are very professional and friendly. Great experience all round.

Progressive Vision Centre is an excellent practice! I have had Dr. Saleh and Dr. Clark as my optometrists, and both women were extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The receptionists as well are lovely, making my entire experience incredibly pleasant. I even experienced an issue with my insurance and the ladies were happy to help. I have been going to this practice for 4 years and will for many more!
