Slick's Burger Shack

Walked/drove by this place so many times. Finally stopped while on a family walk and got a small fry with gravy on the side to split with the wife and kids. There was more than enough fries to share a snack.After we got home we couldn't stop talking about how good the gravy was so we decided to drive down and get dinner for the whole family. The Gavin burger is the best burger I've ever had and the wife and kids like the chicken fingers and fries. The slick sauce is perfect for dipping everything on the menu.Also while we were waiting for our food the owner came out and gave the kids jumbo freezies. We will definitely be going back.

Awsome find today would recommend the Gaven burgar and bacon poutine.

Food truck. Clean, friendly service, great food, best fries. Take away menu so you can order ahead next time. No seating, tables or shade.

You don't need the costly brick and mortar to provide good eats. Had the Gaven Burger and a small poutine and it hit the spot. 14/10 serviettes. Will om nom again.

Very inconsistent on their food. Sometimes their poutine is cooked sometimes it is raw... which is sad when I ask for my fries to be well done. Food was good but recently has gone down hill. I used to come weekly as I am a local but not again. Raw fries are the worst, so just threw my poutine out and won't be back here again.

Loved the burger and poutine. But they were not in the location on the map. They were instead at doxsee and market. Was open though!

Stopped for lunch... had to park 7 spaces away since someone driving a truck and pulling a uhaul trailer was blocking 5 empty spaces. When I suggested to the young man that it was inconvenient since it was difficult for me (handicap plate) to park... especially since 'Big Red' with the trailer continued to sit there to eat their food, he politely repeated to the woman cook my complaint. The person behind me came to tell me her comment - which was .. oh well, just let her have her attitude. Last time myself or my family will ever give them our business. The ignorant comment from this woman will be repeated to anyone who ever asks me my opinion of this truck.

Fantastic food. The owners are absolutely amazing folks. The portion sizes are amazing and it's the perfect place to visit whether to pop by for a quick lunch or bring the whole family. You won't be disappointed.5 stars without a doubt.

I was in Campbellford to get my vaccine but I'm not familiar with the town. I just happened oo drive down the right street and found Slicks. Man, that was the lunch gods smiling on me.I got a falafel wrap, my friend got a cheese burger and we split onion rings. We were VERY impressed by what we got. The falafel wrap felt like you could do bicep curls with it and they included red pickles (I think it's cabbage?) in the wrap. No only did they not skimp oon a single ingredient but every one in there was delicious!I don't know what they did to their onion rings that made them just about the best rings I've ever had but they were PERFECT.(my friend also liked his burger)I'm not sure if I'll ever have the chance to eat there again, but if I'm ever back in Campbellford, slicks will definitely be making the very short list for lunch options.
