Wheeler's is worth the drive from Ottawa for their amazing pancake breakfast. This was the second time we visited on a weekend and it might be an annual spring tradition in the making! It's a beautiful location with the maple farm, pancake restaurant and museum all located on the same property. Their pancakes are Huge and oh so delicious! The maple breakfast sausages are nicely done too. And of course you have the option of picking up that amazing maple syrup before you leave!

So glad to find a pancake house that takes reservations! Breakfast was delicious, they have a lovely little gift shop and museum, and a small network of pretty trails to walk down. It’s all the charm of a family-run sugar bush with a surprising number of amenities.

The best pancake house I've ever been to. I have been going to Wheeler's for over 25 years. When I became vegan, I was so pleased that they offer vegan pancakes. They will also cater to other dietary restrictions like gluten-free and diabetics. My friend had sausages and said they were the best he's ever tried. The restaurant building is beautiful with its high ceilings and fireplace. Amazing trails and a couple of museums. And no visit would be complete without Taffy on snow.

Wheelers is a Canadian national treasure and an institution of maple syrup. Our family has gone every year as our spring tradition, and every year we have the absolute best time. Best pancakes in the world, best sausages in the world, best maple syrup in the world (we grab 4-6 litres every year of the Golden), and the most loving and welcoming family in the whole world: the Wheelers! The kids enjoy the playground (slides, swings, zip line), the 2 museums, and the extensive walking trails. Make sure to grab a maple syrup taffee, they are fantastic! Make sure to make a reservation, I recommend calling. I can guarantee, we will be back every year for many decades to come!!

Great breakfast ($15 with 1 pancake, 1 French toast, 3 sausages) and $2.75 unlimited coffee. Nice staff. 1 hour seating only (yes they did have gentle reminder after 1 hr mark). Make sure you call for reservation. Leisure walk around the farm, museum and trails.

We drove from Ottawa and let me tell you that the 1.5 hour drive is completely worth it. Probably the best pancakes I have had in my life. They accomodate dairy-free needs too! This pancake House is warm, cozy and full of family vibes. I even saw the owners at the cash and walking about. There are so many things to do, the museum, the animals....an overall great day to spend here. Will make it a yearly tradition

Awesome pancakes and French toast but their homemade pork breakfast sausages are too die for - absolutely delicious. Fantastic ambience and great sites to visit. So worth the trip to go there! Highly recommended!

Wheelers Maple Products
We came here as visitors from the UK and it was a great experience. I've never had pancakes with sausage and maple syrup before. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff very attentive and friendly. We're not used to such good service and politeness. After eating we walked the trails and soaked up the wonderful ambience of a Canadian winter. Thoroughly recommended.
