Lulu Island Winery

Really not worth the money... the wine is just good not great. I purchased a Groupon and spoke with a manager regarding why the Groupon was the same price as their online website... The whole purpose of Groupon is to get a deal in order to bring customers into their business. The manager ended up blaming Groupon for the price even though Groupon sets prices based on the company's request.Now for the tour itself, it was okay. Our guide was very nice, but he honestly didn't know much about the wines. I knew more than he did haha. He def seemed new, but the company should prepare their new employees better.Wine samples: our guide didn't pour equally: his first poor was almost always double the second one (the 2nd of course was the one I always got haha). The pours were not even an ounce, so be careful not to breathe in too deep lol.All in all, I paid extra for the Estate Tour" on top of my Groupon for a minimal experience. I cannot imagine what the "Discovery Tour" provides (entry level tour).The charcuterie plate was pretty yummy. However

This winery is beautiful! We went for their summer picnic series. There was great live music playing throughout. The picnic box is very big and delicious. The box could easily feed two. :)The wine was also good although we only tried the whites so we’ll need to go back to try the others!

Had a great time at Lulu Island Winery with my wife. Our tour guide Tiffany was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and made the tour even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this winery and Tiffany as a guide.

First time at this lovely winery. Thank you to Kelley who did an excellent job presenting our wine samples. We were a group of 11 from our Social Committee and live nearby. After our tasting, we enjoyed a glass out side as well. We will be back for sure and will ask for our fabulous presenter, Kelley! Cheers!

This is a really charming estate. It's not gigantic but the scenery is fantastic, it's really a great place to relax and enjoy high-quality wine! I did the estate tour with my parents and it was really fun and informative! Our tour guide Tiffany was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and funny! The wines are really good too and their shop has tons of fancy goodies!

This was our first time to a winery. And as people who don’t drink wine much this was an amazing learning experience for us. We had Robert as our guide and he was very knowledgable of everything. He answered all our questions, gave us an in depth tour of the estate and above all he made us feel very comfortable. We were initially scared as we din’t know anything about wine, but Robert made us feel super comfortable and made sure we were having a good time. People like Robert is an asset, who knows how to be warm, kind and helpful. If anyone wants to pay a visit here I will always recommend Robert as your guide.Our group included 4 other people who were also super nice and kind to us. We all had an amazing wine tasting session at the end and even clicked pictures together.Over all I loved the whole experience. My heart was so full that day. And I will always suggest this place to anyone who wants to learn about wine, and have an amazing experience.Thank you Lulu Island !!

I visited here on November 26th for estate tour.well i'm not good at English, so the guide explained very easily. i felt the kindness about that. Thank you! ^_^and I realized I've been fooled. All dessert wines that I tasted were fake before I visited here. I realized why Canada is famous for ice wine. I wish I can buy more in my country.It would be nice if you tell me when the brewery facilities are operate during before making a reservation. Consider it.*To give advice to people like me who want to visit alone, I recommend you using Uber. I had a hard time because there was no bus in the afternoon. check the transportarion~!

Grateful to taste a lovely variety of fine local fruit wines at Lulu Island Winery just nearby, 30-40 min away from dt by vehicle. Taste test is $10 but could be used as credit if purchasing a bottle.Most impressive was learning about the winery and the support it provides local businesses.Special thanks to Kelley. From her warm and friendly welcome in the grand luxurious country winery to the invite & wine tasting was a pleasant and enjoyable experience especially escaping from a cold rainy spring day. Will also take her advice to avoid large summer crowds/tours will return again during non peak seasons.

Tiffany was a gracious and knowledgeable host. The tour of the winery was informative, and we learned a lot from her. The wines are INCREDIBLE! I had never heard of ice wine before, but I highly recommend it! We will be back for sure!
