Jim came to our home, oiled the grandfather clock properly, straightened bent parts, rehung the chains, and fixed the bottom panel that broke away when the weight fell through. He was friendly, chatty, and informative. We are very pleased and will use him again. :-)

What a pleasure doing business with a craftsman and gentleman like Jim. He was friendly and helpful on the phone, then when I took my clock to him, he fixed it on the spot in fewer than 15 minutes. He then only charged me $15 because that was all the cash I had on me. I didn't even think about cash versus credit, but I encourage you to take cash when you go. Absolutely terrific! Our family's Grandfather clock would run for only a few minutes and then stop, so we read Google Reviews and decided to call Jim's Clock Repair. Jim came out to our home the very next day, and in just one hour, he had the clock adjusted, oiled and running again. He was friendly and professional, but we really appreciated the fact that he was like a teacher, advising us how to best maintain the clock. In today's age of online ordering and voicemails, we don't expect prompt, friendly, competent and affordable home service anymore, so it's really refreshing when it does actually happen! The best part is that Jim came out the day before Thanksgiving, which meant the clock was running again for our family Thanksgiving gathering! We will definitely be calling Jim when the clock needs TLC again!

When I picked up an old cuckoo clock he'd cleaned and oiled, I brought a collectable mini cuckoo that I'd never seen running. 10 minutes later.....it worked! Thanks Jim!

Jim replaced the mechanism of our heirloom wall clock at a much better than expected price. Upon remounting on the wall the clock ran flawlessly but would not chime. Brought the clock back for him to take another look at it at no charge. He found that a long hair had wrapped around the chime wheel so tightly that if stalled the shaft. I thank Jim for his tenacious work ethic and his incredible attention to detail for getting the small things right. The clock now works beautifully again.
