The Dance Studio

I came into pole essentials not knowing a thing about it. The owner was very welcoming when bringing up the idea that I should do it and when I came for my first class Sarah was amazing! I was super nervous and shy walking in but everyone is so nice and accepting of all learning styles, the environment is so welcoming and I have definitely become more comfortable and confident in my skin the more that I go! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new and out of their comfort zone! Amazing spot … 100% recommend

I was scared any first to try out dance but they made me feel so welcome and comfortable!

I signed up for five weeks of classes. The class would take place every Friday evening at 715pm. Prior to having my first class, I was instructed to send a e-transfer to them to save my spot.The first two Friday classes were cancelled due to extenuating circumstances… the following Friday, I ended up going out of town, the fourth Friday, class went on, although the owner decided to bring her son during our class. There were only 2 other women at the class. Which I later found out, neither had paid prior, although I was told do so.The fifth week, one of the other women and I sat outside of the studio from 7pm until 740pm, waiting for any reply or anyone to show up. No one showed.I sent a message to the Facebook chat — we discussed the troubles. It was claimed there was an email forwarded to everyone saying the studio was closed due to some building problems. I requested a refund, I was given the option to wait until the studio was back up and running, then they would add two extra classes on to my five class package… which I was already owed an extra class due to the two weeks missed prior.The refund was supposed to be sent out on March 18th, it is now March 28th and my messages have been ignored since March 23rd now.I am unsure if I will receive my money back… and as for the classes, I will never go back to this studio. This is very unfortunate as I thought the location was great and was going to enjoy the connections I was able to make with other creatives. This is very unfortunate. I did not want to have to write this review, but I want others to know before they send their money in also and receive nothing for it.My apologies to anyone who works at this studio and enjoys it there. Or anyone who enjoys attending this studio. But my experiences has been nothing but difficult.Update: 1 month later - and I have still not been refunded.

What a refreshing, out of the box idea for Leduc! I was so impressed with this new dance / music studio....nothing like it, even in Edmonton. Always evolving! Even has kids stuff so great for the whole family. Nice to see Leduc having yet another unique experience added to this great little city!

my daughter had a blast ..it was so much fun for everyone, an the teacher was amazing , I would definitely recommend the dance studio to anyone , go check it out ..ur missing out .love it guys great job ..

The team at The Dance Studio is absolutely amazing! No matter your skill set, they have the program that suits you! They support anyone who walks through the doors. Different genres, all ages. Fun for everyone! A spacious and beautiful setting that is welcoming and inviting for anyone looking to get they're dance on!

Dance Studio Leduc and Edmonton is great for fitness and fun. Instructors are marvellous.

Registered my 4 year old into Hip Hop. This was supposed to be her first dance experience but unfortunately did not happen. The class I registered her in was supposed to be Saturdays at 12-1pm. First class I got a text the day of the class at 10:30am. Due to a water leak class was cancelled. No problem stuff happens. Show up the next week for her dance by 11:50 (10 mins early) nobody is there. Doors locked. I wait until 12:15. No call no text message nothing. Finally I decide to give a phone call no answer, text no answer. I call a second time at 12:30. Finally someone answers. Apparently the dance teacher did a no show. Unfortunately no class again. Fine I understand stuff happens. This time I figured I’d message them mid week this time before my daughters class just to confirm there will be a class because I’d hate to show up with my 4 year old daughter to be yet again disappointed. So I messaged the Thursday (dance isn’t until Saturday) to confirm there will be a class. Got confirmation yes hip hop will start that Saturday. Great!Show up for class Saturday yet AGAIN the doors are locked. My husband text and called no answer, I text and called no answer. Then I receive a text from a texting app confirming that I got an email about todays hip hop class being rescheduled !? Ummmm ok. Check my email. Yes I received an email at 11:37!!!!!! What the heck?!!! Yet again the 3rd time and NO SHOW! This was a horrible experience for my little girl 3x in a row waiting to start a hip hop class and 3 weeks in a row getting screwed around. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. Also haven’t received any refund of my money back. This whole thing has been awful. Would not recommend!
