My visits to this restaurant left me with a sense of culinary satisfaction and a desire to return. I have booked for surprise dinner with family and been speechless disappointed.So overall is just 3 stars I will put simple as possible in this feedback:Interior is full 5 stars as once you entered in hallway you have dive me in 1980’s, nest of my child mind time, where and when my grandma’s been cooking the delicious food that can not be forgotten ever, here I have given another 5 wonderful stars for food wise… for food matches to childhood memories, but always must be something to smash you and bring to reality where you have member of staff to be useless and careless… we ordered from menu Georgian wine Saperavi 2013 collection, no matter that this bottle cost £***, they have managed to open one from 2018 collection for the same price without any shame… at my question what is that…? to follow with Comments “WE DON’T HAVE ANOTHER WINE TODAY” shocking.Here, it was something below 1 star I will put down the lowest so 1 Star. They must work on severe level on customer satisfaction… to get higher than 3* in row… this dinner didn’t cost me less than £100 per person and to have this kind of attitude. SHAMELESS to “MARI VANNA”

This restaurant screams Slavic vibes… I was extremely surprised I really enjoyed it and the food was very very good.The food had a traditional home-cooked taste, the interior, especially the dining area was very traditional in setup and appearance which was a lovely change from many of the restaurants in London.I would definitely recommend visit here, mainly to experience something different outside the “normal” London dining experience.

we loved the food and the atmosphere, the reviews in Google were mixed so we were not sure because it could have gone either way but we were very pleased. Everything we ate was very tasty, the waiters were very polite , the place looked very homely and I liked the music too. It was Russian but not too loud.

Extremely unfriendly frightening members of staff, my kid got food poisoning and it was ignored by the management after it was reported. We had to keep my son 48 hours out of school. Food was tasty but not of high end restaurants standards, more of a mediocre stolovaya rather than a restaurant recipes. Blini were nice, forest pelmeni were good too but Syberian ones were way too big to be called so. Селедка под шубой - was dry as it has no Mayo. The set up is beautiful, yet the plates were placed on nearby tables in a very loud manner. Floor manager literally scared us with her straight face and cold statements, not even a single smile on anyone's faces apart from a young male waiter after we raised their concerns about members of staff having had a fight. Not the atmosphere our sunny Mediterranean souls can bare another time so won't be ever visiting again, it all looked as a horror movie to us. My 7 years old one wanted to leave the moment he seen and heard the floor manager while we went there to actually check on the place so that to arrange his birthday party. To be exact, it was the worst experience we ever had anywhere. So disappointed because I heard so many good reviews from friends in past. What a disaster...
