Miss labeled items, snarky staff, one came up to my car today with a cigarette in his face, took a puff while talking with me and filled my car with smoke. Really unprofessional group of people. The young guy at customer service with the ponytail is really nice and helpful and the blonde lady at the front is awesome and always has popcorn ready. It's not all bad but the few spoil the bunch. If everyone was like the 2 great ones I mentioned, it would be a lovely store.

The only full lumber yard in Rutland area. Lots of hardware supplies. Fair prices. Very old building. Could use some upgrading or painting.

Terrible experience with this location!Make sure if you do a 'special order' that you do not purchase it before you put eyes on it. Mine was the wrong material and the wrong color and I was forced to keep it for over $6000! I was told 'there is nothing we can do - it's yours!'The owner, manager, guy behind the desk did not care or try to even help at all. Just told me I was stuck with it.I love to support local business but this will not be one of them anymore. Such a disappointment!

Was at one of the larger big depot type of hardware stores and ended up not buying a thing as a result of the poor service and lumber selection.Fast forward to this morning and I am lucky enough to be served by Dave at the customer service desk. The friendly, knowledgeable Dave answered all my questions, gave me suggestions and recommendations as well as reminding me of a number of things to consider during my “raised veggie bed” project.Door to door, this is probably one of the furthest hardware stores from my house, yet moving forward this will be the only hardware store I frequent.
