Service was top knotch, work was completed alot faster than I expected! I am very happy with my new woodstove and chimney system!Worth the money spent, peace of mind is priceless.

It’s pretty sad when the first thing I see is this company members preaching hate speech on the internet. I wanted to give them a shot, I really did but when your moral compass is that off it’s hard to morally invest in this company. Would not recommend unless you are also a hateful person, or enjoy unprofessional company’s only pro is they are decently priced.

A thoroughly bad experience - Jeff offered little by way of help or guidance in the planning of our wood stove choice and install. In spite of ample reminders Jeff did not work with the build schedule at all, requiring two unnecessary elbows in the flue. His installation was failed by another WETT certified installer (I wasn't trusting Jeff's work by this time) for several substantive reasons. He was aggressive in reaction to this news, instead of concerned with the problems found, and then would not communicate with me subsequently. I had to pay someone else to correct his mistakes. Jeff does not seem to care.

professional, fast, and friendly service. Jeff has competitive pricing and had our ancient woodstove WETT certified just in time for winter to show up. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable guy who took the time to make sure we knew the most efficient way to use such a large woodstove.Grateful for the service, would recommend and use again. 10/10

When I called Jeff to clear my chimney and install a cap he quoted $385 for cleaning with price for cap to be quoted once he determines what is needed. He came over fairly quickly, he seemed knowledgeable and professional the chimney was heavily plugged up by birds nest in the end he charged over $500 with promise to come back and install the cap.He never returned, I called him in spring regretfully no show. By fall the chimney was plugged up by birds again. Called him in September, He did not show. Called in Oct. that visit got delayed till Nov 9th, Called him on Nov 13 to see if he was at property as I have not heard from him. He called back and told me it would cost another $375 for cleaning and $300+ for cap and he could only come in a week or two as he was busy.I called Friendly Fires they quoted $180 for cleaning and aprox $100 for cap, regretfully they could not come in for the next couple of weeks, given that wanted it done same week they referred me to Kawartha Heating Solutions, they came the next day and although they had same difficulties clearing out the chimney from the birds nest they charged $175 for chimney and $150 for Cap. Have called many times over last 2 years to repair the crown cap that he built. Which is now falling apart. Large chunks are falling off it. He even made 2 appointments to stop by and have a look at it . I waited around he never showed. I call and no answer. I leave messages and still no answer. Horrible customer service. Considering the cost to replace the brick chimney from the roof line up.

Jeff and his team saved the sale of our home, with a very fast response time, excellent advice and workmanship. If only all trades we like this!

Repairs above and beyond code requirements. Expensive but not an area you want to cut corners so well worth it.
