Caribou Lighthouse
Beautifull location , if your in the area , this view is worth the drive ! You can watch the caribou- wood islands ferrys as they arrive & depart , take a break , walk on the beach , then catch the ferry to pei !

Neat area, walk along the shore. I saw seals when I visited in Mid Sept. Rainy day so not crowded at all. I enjoyed the drive out to it. Recommend stopping here.

Caribou Lighthouse
Came here to snap some photos on a chilly December day. Arrived at sunset and just sat in the car with my tea watching the ice flowing and the seagulls. Its a beautiful drive out here and while its not the best looking lighthouse it's still a nice spot.

Caribou Lighthouse
Went here and explored the beach a bit at low tide. It was a nice walk. The drive to the lighthouse is just as interesting as the spot itself.I have also been to the lighthouse in winter. Not as nice of an experience. Lol!! It was cold and windy. We stayed in the vehicle and watched the waves crash into the ice both floating and ashore. Amazing to watch, but so cold with that northern wind.

Not to far of a drive. At low tide you can walk all around the light house finding small fish swimming and hermit crabs too just at the edge of the water. Watch the PEI ferry's come and go. Nice spot to take a drive out too.

This place is worth the drive to grab an awesome photo. Views of beautiful sunrises and sunsets & Caribou - PEI ferry chance sights on route to the docking terminal. A super cool lighthouse that I can actually touch with my bare hand .. priceless. Needs picnic tables and a doggy bag disposal perhaps. You can see PEI from here on a clear day. Bring binoculars if you have. Enjoy your fun happy summer memories CHEERS !!!

Climb over the rocks in the front of the parking and there is a nice sandy beach to rest on the rocks and watch the ferries go by.
