Rocky's Burgers
We randomly stopped at Rockys this afternoon and we were so impressed!! I got the slim Jim with cheese and my husband got the regular cheese burger. The burgers are huge! Seasoned perfectly and the combo of mustard relish and onion is simple, but so much flavour. The people working there are also so nice! Can’t wait to bring my parents here to try it out.

Rocky's Burgers
Rocky's has best fresh hand-formed burgers, no fillers, 80-20 pure Alberta beef. More burger than Bun, and it is a big bite of meat. Ketchup, mustard, raw onions (grilled upon request), nothing else to take away from the Beef! Fresh cut fries and thank goodness, a small size as regular is too much for one unless you are sharing. Great self-serve condiments on the side to juice up your food to whatever you like. Best of all is the low prices and excellent welcoming service. Several picnic tables to sit @ to enjoy the weather and THE BURGER, and in the Market food court on weekends!

When visiting Calgary, I don't leave until I have visited Rocky's Burgers. You'll get a burger with a thick patty and enough fries to share with your wife who said she didn't want fries.I travel the country and this is my most favorite spot for a burger in Canada.Quick Service. Friendly Staff

Hands down my favorite burger in town. Quality meat every time, no need for anything over the top because they manage to do so much with beef, mustard, relish and onion. Their homestyle poutine is an absolute monsters too, love it so much. Been coming here since I was a kid and the staff has always remembered me! Definitely a must try if you're into quality local food burgers and fries.

Rocky's Burgers
The burger here was so good. The perfect amount of real ground beef, obviously not preformed patty. It is nice and crispy on the outside and nicely cooked on the inside. I had it with exactly what they offered which was mustard, relish and onion. Very good burger! The fries were real potatoes nicely browned. I had the poutine which was good and quite authentic to the Quebec version. I couldn't give a five star for atmosphere simply because it is winter and too cold to sit outside by the bus. We went into the market which is nice as well, a huge improvement from when I was there as a kid. I would really recommend this place if your in the area to give this burger and fries a try!

This place was better a few years ago but it's still alright. Homemade burger patties that are really thick, really good bacon and the buns are pretty good but it was just a bit bland. Better than some places in town but there is also a lot better. You can customize your burger with store bought sauces they have and that would probably make less bland.

I have been going here faithfully for 12 years (both locations) and getting the Rocky special. Service is always great and so is the food. I have even called and placed orders for all my staff. Today I left feelin upset over the way I was treated and such lack of respect and disregard for 1 order that had food allergies. The order was dropped out the window and no number called. Just said there you go". no fork in the bags and I asked which order was the special order as non were marked. But they never answered as they just kept on talking and laughing. When I got back to the office and checked both orders

I've been eating at the Rockwell family buses for over 30 years, there was a time I had to have one of their bacon and tomato sandwiches every day when they were in the foothills. But you can't beat a Rocky's special once in a while! This is the way a burger should be, simple. Mustard relish and onions, oh yeah!

My husband and I were in town for the day, from Edmonton, and decided we had to try 'the burger place on the bus.' All I have to say is 'wow!' I am so impressed with the quality of the food. The double cheeseburger was at least the size of four patties at any other restaurant and the meat was seasoned to perfect.....I could have easily eaten the beef, alone and been perfectly satisfied. We arrived shortly before the grill was set to close, but they made our food fresh and didn't skimp out. We were definitely spoiled and can't wait to come back!

Rocky's Burgers
I like Rocky's burgers...I just can't really say that I LOVE them. I just wish that their beef had a bit more seasoning to it.That being said, there are a lot of other positives about this spot. Their poutine is pretty dang good, their staff is super friendly, and the location at the Crossroads market is so much better than the old one.So, while they may not by my #1 choice for a burger, they still run a great little spot in a great little area.
