This is an amazing historical site that needs to be restored. It has the potential to be another Citadel Hill for Tye city of Halifax.

Very cool Fort that was used not only as a military installation to protect the harbor. Most of this fort is sealed up but you can still check out one of the bunkers, see the obsolete canons baking in the sun that they never bothered to remove since it was cheaper to leave them in place. The canons in place at this location are their original placement when they were installed with the fort was new; these are the two breach loaders on the upper battlements.
