Having to enter the bar through the sewers was exciting and different (shout out to any TMNT fans, def that vibe.) Valet was good but never done valet before so not sure to expect but i think prob 5 stars quality. All drinks were tiki bar themed (which i guess makes sense cuz of the bar name-- tiki is literally in the name.) i would def go again especially if i had a ruck sack or duffle with a change of clothes for after the sewer. Appies were good but couldnt tell if they were just left by the previous patron. Would recommend tho, to friends, coworkers, and family, in that order.

I had the pleasure of popping into Contiki Cabana on my stay in Beautiful British Columbia. Let me tell you I was blown away, they have an in-house cat caretaker, it’s so comforting knowing my sweet baby boy is in a safe space and I know he is being taken care of. Cocktails 69/10

This place has the best decor and record collection of all the tiki bars in Vancouver. We recently went for my birthday and really liked their Pain Killers. Will definitely be back soon.

I was caught trying to slip a whole punchbowl into my backpack, booze and all. However I got caught by one of the half dozen valet attendants who were just hanging out in the bathroom, they kept telling me it was also a tanning salon and then they kicked me out and refused to bring around my boat that they had parked for me a few hours earlier. To their credit one of them did give me a ride on their bike handlebars all the way back to the marina in the west-end but I did wake up to a $200 invoice in the morning. I can't wait to go back this weekend.

Waited 30 minutes in line, but it was so well worth the wait. Look for the hidden entrance close to the pipes. I won’t give it away, but they don’t do speakeasies like this anymore. Drinks are magical - airy, ephemeral.

Best bar in Vancouver. Period.While it’s a little tricky to find, the amazing cocktails, sassy bar staff, and sweet tunes always make you feel right at home.

I showed up during the valet staff party and the owner was kind enough to let me in. Amazing drinks. The house DJ was spinning the freshest beats. And the valet staff made me feel like a part of the family Contiki family.

$17 for an “espresso martini?” that came out tasting like a glass of coffee creamer. Should have left when the hostess gave us attitude for our presence and rudely told us “you can find a seat at the bar” when we came in looking for a table. Not to mention the bartender rudely saying “I am the cocktail menu” when we requested one. They also played the original super freak on repeat.

I ended up here by accident but was immediately charmed by the unique atmosphere. If you like black velvet paintings and retro beats this is the place for you. The house specials were varied and strong… to this day I have no idea how to go back.
