Stephen est extrêmement disponible et rassurant. Les séances en privé sont primordiales pour apprendre à bien vivre et communiquer avec son chiot. On se sent en confiance et plus outillé après seulement 2 séances.

We all know the key to happiness is getting a dog, and then getting a second dog. Sadly sometimes things don’t work out as one thought…. It can feel like you are in hell! Stephen’s goal is to help you and your dogs be as happy as possible.I am the owner of Wiggle Dog Walks and Stephen has helped me understand how to better help dogs, including my own. He has helped train my walkers and I have seen him help many others. He has the heart of a teacher!!!

J'ai adopté à l'automne un chien ayant eu un passé d'agressivité envers les chiens et de réactivité à plusieurs bruits et voitures passantes. Stéphane a su rendre les sessions très instructives et dynamiques, et j'ai beaucoup appris en termes d'exercices pour diminuer la peur chez mon chien.

My partner and I crossed paths with Stephen and Nina on a random Saturday afternoon at Pawse Boutique while shopping for our new 8-week old puppy. Lucky for us, they were there, engaging with the community, giving out training advice and answered all of my first time puppy owner questions without hesitation.When we found out they were starting a puppy socialization walk, there was no doubt in my mind that we needed to sign up! Joining their first walk with our now 15-week old pup was a blast. We had a great time and learned so much about safely socializing our puppy with new environments, other dogs, objects, and people. We left feeling more confident and knowledgeable, and excited to join the next walk!

J’ai eu la chance de participer à un cours de maternelle pour chiot avec Stéphane. Son approche et ses conseils ont été clés dans l’éducation à mon chien. Aujourd’hui, nous avons un magnifique garçon bien équilibré, sain et heureux. Stéphane est particulièrement bon pour éduquer les humains sur les méthodes de renforcement positif, et nous outillé avec tout ce qu’il nous faut pour développer une belle relation avec nos pitous. Je recommande fortement!

Stephen is extremely knowledgeable! I took 4 private classes and just watching him interact with my dog is a lesson in itself. I’ve continuously taken some amazing group classes since I adopted my GSP(now 9-month old) but getting private lessons brings the learning to a whole new level. It is well worth the dollars and time invested, especially when you have such a kind/patient teacher with your dog.

Stephen is a great dog trainer, never seems to be stumped by hard issues. Offers helpful advice, our puppy showed remarkable improvement after classes and gave us the tools we needed to train her at home.He is always available for follow up questions even after the payed training had ended.

Stephen was highly recommended to me by a friend, and now I know why. Stephen is an amazing trainer. He's great with dogs, and with humans. We appreciated his patience with our not-so-easy dog, and with us with our million questions. He offered helpful advice, tricks to put in practice, and we really appreciated the recap video he made for us, to make sure we would not forget anything after the transfer session (as there was a lot to cover!). Koji will miss you!

Quel professionnalisme ! J’ai une chienne réactive qui ne tolérait pas les autres chiens. Je ne pouvais plus la promener sans craindre les accidents. Stéphane nous a vraiment aidés et maintenant, j’ai retrouvé le plaisir de la promener. Merci Stéphane pour ta compréhension, pour ta générosité, pour tes multiples conseils, j’ai adoré mon expérience.

I was lucky to meet A Lick of Sense at a local pet store for a Q&A session. I found Stephen to be extremely knowledgeable, patient and great at explaining training concepts in theory as well as in practical and easy to follow steps. My dog used to run away from her collar and harness and now I get a wagging tail and no running when I pull them out to start our day. I look forward to continuing to learn from them in future!
