I have ordered flowers from here quite a few times for different occasions. The price and service are really good. You can simply give them a call and they can send you photos to save you a trip. Their delivery services are on time.But if you are looking for top quality freshness flowers you should pay more somewhere else.

Carries a large variety of flowers and plants for any occasions. The ladies who manage the shop are very accommodating, one of them even took us into the walk in fridge where they keep more flowers.The flower and plants seem fresh and are well maintained. Prices are reasonable, we bought a bouquet of roses to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Will definitely go back for other occasions.

Thank you Ruby Florist for their beautiful flowers over Mother’s Day! This is my third time dealing with Ruby florist - first time at my own wedding 13 years ago, second time at my sister’s wedding last year, in the middle of the pandemic, and also last week over Mother’s Day (pandemic time again)! The quality of their flowers never disappoints! Their price is also very reasonable compare to other Florist in the Markham area. Definitely the Florist of my choice!

Price okay for fresh flowers. I usually pick up last minute bouquets from this shop. They have multiple units in the plaza.

They charged extra $30 for adding Lilies on the funeral basket I ordered, but there wasn’t even one single Lily. My order looked exactly the same as the others who paid $30 less than me. And the flowers all look withered.

Ruby florist is the monopoly at New Century Plaza- hard to miss them. We’ve used them for previous events, and for our Grandma’s funeral we went directly to them. Disclaimer alert: they seem rude and off putting but honestly once you get to know them, they’re pretty nice, esp the owner. They know what they’re doing, and how to do it. So you can trust you’re in the right hands esp if you are ordering funeral flowers. They’ll know how to write the names and get all the Chinese characters right. Traditionally, there should had been ribbons with names written on them but they provided a sign above the arrangement which in my opinion makes more sense as there are a lot of characters to include anyway. The *only* downside of our experience is that we requested a custom garland to be made for us- which isn’t common for funeral services. We showed them a picture, and they explained to us they couldn’t do it for us, as they were not permitted to enter the funeral home to install the garland. We explained we could install it ourselves, we just needed the garland made. This was probably a language/communication issue, but they basically refused to accept the order. Instead they offered to send us some flowers as a courtesy so that we could make the garland ourselves. On the day of, they sent exactly 10 extra carnations. Since the garland itself needed to be the length of half of the casket, the flowers they sent were basically useless. Even though the garland part didn’t work out for us, they still kept their word and in the end they “did send the flowers”. Aside from this minor mix up, the value is great and the sprays turned out absolutely beautiful.

The flowers are good/long lasting and the price is right.You can order a funeral flower over the phone. They have a good range of prices depends on your budget.They did an amazing job for the funeral flower arrangement. Love the color that they had chosen for a 82 year old gentleman funeral. The price was only $160 - $180 including shipping and taxes for this arrangement. I ordered it in person this time.I have one particular salesperson 花花who is very helpful.

Avoid this garbage place!! People are brainless and colorblind!! I ordered pink and purple flowers but they send out yellow and white flowers. They don't care about their service, they just care about your money. Shame on them.

I live closeby so it's convenient but every time I come here I regret it. The service is terrible, it's like sorry for inconveniencing you with money. And generally the flowers rot and mold quickly.

This was the first time we ordered flowers for funeral. We’re super disappointed with Ruby Florist. We ordered the $120 flower arrangement and asked Ada to show me what it would look like. I’m attaching a picture of what Ruby Florist sent me and what actually got sent to the funeral home. I didn’t expect the flower arrangement to look exactly like the picture, but the final product was too disappointing. We almost thought it was a scam. We will never order from this place again.
