mixed reviews here - they were unable to diagnose my machine for days - thought it was a part - changed the part - it smelled like it was burning - changed part again - that didn't work - came back on day 4 and brought me a loaner ( that was nice and not asked for ) Tech was nice and really tried to help but to no avail . they are hard to reach - seem very disorganized - share phones with Elmira so never the person you were expecting to reach. All in all a bad experience - not recommended

I've been using this repair company since 1997 and always had excellent service. I think until recently I dealt with the owner and he was wonderful.Latest service call was for our fridge for a broken compressor - which we already identified. According to the repair company website, if they can't fix it, we won't be charged and price starting at about $50 (conditions apply but what are the conditions?).I don't know how they charge but he wasn't here long (maybe 15 minutes?) and charged $82. The fridge could not be repaired.The more disappointing part of this is he didn't put the plate back on the fridge. He tucked the screws band plate in behind the fridge when he put it back. Feel this was sloppy work and the least he could do was leave it the same way he found it.He did identify there is a 10 year compressor warranty but it isn't worth the price for service. And we couldn't use his statement to prove the issue.While the service wasn't completely horrible, we will be looking for a different company on any future appliance repairs. It was enough to convert a loyal customer to moving on.

We recently used Belmont to install a gas line for our natural gas bbq. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work and even more grateful for the efforts the technician expended explaining the proper use and handling natural gas products. I give this company my highest endorsement.

They were very quick and repaired my stove, works great now. It wasn't cheap but price seemed fair. I know it took them some time to dismantle it out of the built in cabinets. They were polite but did but did do a lot of swearing while trying to dismantle it.

Jim came same day. A real straight shooter. Happened to have the exact washing machine for my stackable dryer on the trailer so we just swapped out my broken one. Fast and courteous. Exceptionally good luck helped too :)

We were referred to this company for HVAC by Elmira Home Comfort. We have a rental that is being converted to a duplex. My husband met the representative, Gary, at the house to get a quote. We received this a week or so later. We had all of our questions answered, agreed on price, we were ready to go with the job. I booked all my other trades around the fact that we were told by this man mid-December we could have the job started. Out of nowhere, literally the day after he had answered a few of my last minute questions (ie. What brand of furnace etc.), he sends me a one lined email backing out of the job because he 'all of the sudden' found out that he is solidly booked until February. Now having to notify my other trades, try and find a new HVAC guy; I just wanted to truly thank you for wasting our time and setting back our project.
