Kind, quick, and professional. I forgot to get my documents verified by the Canadian government but they let me come back two hours after my appointment time after I got my documents verifiedo to get all my forms sorted out. Been here at least 4 or 5 times, haven't had any trouble, at least with the notorial staff.

I have experienced myself and seen a few of male staff unfriendly and unkind to other visitors.I can understand staff can be busy and they meet many visitors. If the work is overwhelming them, they may hire more staff and the only one who is willing to support and provide the best service to the public and to the visitor may fill the positions. When I lost my passport and requested for a replacement, the male staff I met gave me a strange look and not nice words suspecting me wondering why I was requesting my passport replacement. I have noted the male staff is not working there anymore. I was glad.

Make sure you book an appointment to be seen. Appointments can take weeks so plan ahead. There is no parking on-site and the directions posted on the Consulate Gate are too tiny to be seen from the car, especially with heavy traffic breathing down your neck. Instead, take the turn just before the Consulate for free street parking. It’s a 5 min walk from there back to the Consulate.Entry gate is from the main road. Walk to the back of the building for the entrance. Make sure you have your appointment printed. I didn’t but they let me in anyway after checking the scheduled list of visitors. The visa (business) interview was short. Along with the usual visa form, photo and passport, I included letters from my employer, invitation letter from the Korean business, their Korean business registration, copies of past Korean visas and all previous trips and a personal request for multiple entry. I was told that they issue only single entry visas. Kinda disappointing as it means I’ll have to drive from London to Toronto every two months to get the visa. The saving grace: you don’t need to drive back to pick up your passport - visas are issued online and you can take a print out of the visa at home. The Consulate Staff themselves were polite, courteous and professional.

I can’t agree more to the reviews already left in this section. Just adding more to previously left comments, the male worker at family certificate desk and the female worker at visa desk are absolutely rude, have seriously low work ethics and they need to work on their attitudes and facial expressions. I’ve been there couple of times to get some certificates and visa done. First of all, I’ll talk about the guy in the family certificate desk. His eyebrows says it all that he doesn’t want to work there and is ready to pick up a fight with even a smallest things like unorganized documents, and any questions visitors might ask. The female worker also has a serious attitude problem and her voice is so irritating. I constantly heard both speaking in commanding tone, as if they were doing us our favours. Well, they do get paid for their jobs don’t they? I hope they just shut that commanding tone up, fix up their attitudes and just do their job.One good thing about COVID is they are only showing half of their face. It will be awful to see their whole face with that poor attitudes.

The consulate located at the corner of St. Clair and Avenue road. The site is very scenic and easy to walk around. The current entrance is not very handicap accessible but I am sure they will be able to allow access from the front door. There is no parking on-site but there is a lot of inexpensive street parking just behind. The staff here are very friendly and efficient. There are many services provided and make sure you fill in the proper forms for presentation. The turn around time here is very fast.*Remember to make a reservation on their website before going or you face the risk of being turned away*

I asked a few questions over the phone and he was so rude. He was like a guy who didn't want to work was forced to do it. If I could give you one piece of advice, fire him as he wishes

Very unfriendly male staff, require booking to get into the building, and not enough parking space. The man I talked with was full of annoyance and anger, which made the visit terrible

Can’t believe that I have to make an appointment to even get into the building. Really? Korean people need some help but because we didn’t make an appointment we couldn’t even pass the security desk to speak to a worker. Who is this Korean embassy for? It seems like, it’s only for the workers who were there, Definitely, not for all the Koreans who needs help!! While I was at the door, I’ve seen many Koreans got turned away for the same reasons. Ridiculous!!

The consulate general is aside the avenue and like a beautiful garden house. The staff is efficient and very helpful. To find the free parking, you can drive further pass the consulate house and turn right at the traffic light. When you reach the stop sign, you can check left and right side for 1 hour free parking. Hope this helps.

The staff were unkind and unhelpful to my 78 year-old mother. She needed help filling out parts of her passport application - she explained that as she has lived in Canada for the last 45 years some administrative language was beyond her understanding and no one was willing to help. On her previous visit an employee had told her that she could rush order her passport to be ready in a couple of days. She was told today that it would take two weeks and that she has to go online to pay a DHL fee first - different information than what was told to her previously. She explained that she doesn't know how to use the internet and her grasp of English wasn't the best but was refused any help. She left feeling frustrated, overlooked and very disrespected by the employees. They should be ashamed of themselves.
