Went today with my wife and 5 year old and it was a decent experience. It’s much smaller then the one in Niagara Falls and based on the reviews a lot of people down voted for that reason because it is a little smaller but for us it was the perfect size and perfect amount of time for this experience. There is a decent amount of different species of butterflies as well as birds some fish and leaf cutter ants and other bugs on display as well. All in all for the price of admission and it was enjoyable and a fun 1.5 hours spent on a balmy Sunday. It won’t take long to tour the whole greenhouse but if you’re looking to kill time for 2 hours and got some curious young toddlers who are interested in insects like my daughter is come give this place a try. Almost forgot to mention they have a pretty decent size and diverse souvenir shop as well on the way out and a cafe there on the grounds as well.

We have been to the one in Cambridge and the one in Niagara. We prefer the Cambridge one. I'm not sure why but we keep going back to this one in particular. Always a nice time. Be sure to look down to find the ground birds as well as the birds and butterflies flying above. Tip: don't go on overcast days, all the butterflies hide amongst the leaves - make sure its a sunny day.

We had a wonderful experience. Specially the exhibits where butterflies, moth and other insects were displayed was cool and of educational value.Icing on the cake was hatchery of butterflies showing different stages of life cycle. The conservatory was cool to visit though butterflies were a handful.

Clean and easy to navigate. Very hot and humid in the greenhouse area, dress appropriately. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My 4 year old loved the displays of bugs and spiders

This is a must see attraction if you are in the area. The butterflies fly around so freely and their enclosure is well-maintained. There are several things to see before you enter the butterfly area, such as looking at real life blue lobsters or tarantulas. You can also learn about the different types of moths and butterflies. Really cool place!

You need to buy timed tickets before entering. We bought it on their website. You can enter and exit multiple times once your ticket is verified. The place is split into distinct parts - the conservatory, two display areas, cafe and gift shop. The conservatory is beautifully done and takes about 15 mins max to tour. There are lots of butterflies and a variety of flora and fauna. The two display areas showcase various types of critters - both live and stuffed/fossilized. They even bring out the critters for people to gently touch/ interact with.

Another amazing attraction in the region of Waterloo. The kids will love it there. This place is magical with beautiful butterflies and birds who happen to be friendly and might sit on you to catch their breath. The staff is very knowledgeable and you will learn so much about these beautiful creatures and more. How can we not talk about Instagram worthiness. You are going to get amazing pics for the gram if you know your angles.
