Decent rest area at Departure Bay. A few more food options and seats would be nice, but at least the washrooms aren’t nasty (as they often can be in public transportation stations).

Its nice ferry terminal one of my favorites for bc ferries . Its got lots of space to sit and relax. Kids play area, washrooms , restaurants, coffee shops, gift/souvenir shops ,clothing stores. And very nice landscape views, tables and chairs, it's right next to public transportation like local bus and Vancouver Island connector/tofino bus . Local cabs . Sea planes next door

Make reservations, ensure to be plenty early. Was difficult to get through the mornings mayhem, cars blocking the intersection to cross traffic, people sleeping in their cars in line, general mayhem before the first sailing. Thanks for asking, it is all the same but a later sailing meant all the mayhem was well sorted.

Was good didn't have to wait to go to the Island but had a 2hr wait on the way back. But they have some stores and places to eat while you wait.

Huge delay in our lane and so we missed the ferry despite being on time. You don't get priority in such cases and so we had to wait six hours

This was one of the highlights of our holiday to be honest.Very professional service, amazing food (Best Fries all holiday) on the crossing. Lots of seating and absolutely amazing views!!

Helps to pass the time. Ferry was delayed by 4 plus hours. I managed to find something healthy while I waited. Grateful for the food court.

Great place to pass the time as you wait for your ferry, especially if there is a delay. Great for walk on passengers. Makes things more comfortable and convenient for families too, with the playground. #letsguide #covid
