Sardis Appliance Repair

Our dishwasher stopped working so we called this place and they sent a nice younger fella over to take a look. He figured out the issue right away and fixed it on the spot! Great service all around.

My dishwasher was not working properly. I called Sardis Appliance Repair. Many years ago when the business was on Silver Avenue I bought parts from them and I was very happy with the service, so I thought I would call them in to fix my dishwasher. It now says that their office is in Chilliwack on Portage Street. On Tuesday I got a text message from the technician that he would be in later that day. When the technician got to my house I was working outdoors so my wife took him in to check out the dishwasher. He was there for 4.5 minutes. He told my wife that the dishwasher needed to be replaced as it would cost more to repair it. I found out after she had paid him that he did not test the dishwasher but asked her what was the problem. She told him that the dishes at the top weren’t washing properly. From what my wife told him he decided that the motor was defective. I should have paid my wife as the technician never checked out it out and didn’t test anything. When I got the charge it said that it came from One Click Appliance Repair in Vancouver. Obviously, Sardis Appliance is a front for a repair place in Vancouver. They charged me $140 for 4.5 minutes of nothing that's over $1800 an hour. If he had actually checked it out that would have been doable. At this point, I don’t even know if it is repairable or not as Sardis Appliance Repair can’t be trusted.

My dryer broke down last week and Nick from sardis came over to fix it. He was very efficient & friendly throughout the process. The price was reasonable too! Will definitely call them again if needed.

I called to make an appointment and confirmed with a date for a Friday. On Wednesday I received a text from a technician asking what time was good for them to come by, I replied that the appointment is not until Friday. Friday came and went and no one contacted me or showed up. I called another appliance company in town and he was able to fit me in and repair my dryer the next week. On the next Wednesday a random technician showed up on my doorstep saying he was there for a dryer repair. Again no communication and the repair had already been made by someone else. I was told by the other company I used that this company does not have their office in Chilliwack like the old Sardis appliance repair did. They contract all the work out to other service technicians.

My washing machine was making a loud noise during the spin cycle. The repairman from Sardis, Dan, arrived on time and performed several tests on the machine. He also opened the back and checked inside. He spent a lot of time answering my questions. I am very satisfied with the service I received from Dan. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

Nik from Sardis appliance came to fix our refrigerator that wasn't cooling properly. He did an amazing job, very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommended for anyone in Chilliwack needing appliance repairs!

Called in when our oven stopped heating up in Abbotsford. Alex arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He replaced a faulty part and now our oven is working perfectly again!
